These nail plates are thick enough to block any nail, but thin enough to not create a raided spot on your sheetrock pr paneling. They are dead simple to install. Just line 'em up and tap with a hammer. This price on the fifty pack I received is better than the big box stores, so they are definitely a good value, but honestly, at any price these are absolutely a must have when you are running electrical or plumbing through walls. The potential cost of not having these in place far outweighs the upfront cost, so get some!

I wish I had these XGGYA Nail Plate for Wood Studs 2.7x1”.3 Inch, 50 Pack/Steel Cable Wire Protector Plates when I rebuilt my leaking 1983 Toyota Dolphin Motorhome roof/ceiling. It was a complete tear off and rebuild. I didn’t have easy access to buy this type of nail plate to protect the wires that ran through the 1.5” space between the ceiling and the roof. Sure enough, somewhere in reattaching the exterior plywood sheathing to the “rafters” I must have placed a screw into a wire and shorted out the interior wiring. What a pain. I spent days trying to find the short. It could have been completely alleviated had I had these nail plates. I ended up rewiring the entire lighting system. In a house, how much more difficult would it be to track down a nail piercing a wire. Or worse yet, grounding a circuit out and causing a fire. So from that perspective, these plates are quite valuable. Certainly justifies the low cost of these plates. Installation, especially on new construction, is easy. Every rafter that I drilled holes to run the wires, is simply covered by a plate that prevents nails or screws from being able to pass through the plate and pierce the wire. Ingenious. The idea has been around for decades. Very reasonably priced.

Great value for your money buy with this bulk box of cable protectors. All of the bends look good. The sizing is just right for your average 2x4, and they provide adequate coverage. Nailing them into place is a breeze. Really, I didn't see anything to complain about with this order. They do what they're supposed to and they don't break the bank.

Really good value for 50 nail plates. These are much heavier gauge steel than any I’ve used before. They drive in securely without bending or being deformed by repeated hammer strikes. These will definitely stop any nail or screw being driven into the finished wall and damaging wires, conduits or pipes. Definitely heavy duty quality, galvanized 50 at a really reasonable price point!

These nail plates will resist any screw or nail and protect the wiring behind it. These are not to secure the wiring; the prongs go deep enough to hold the plate to the stud but it pulls off with the slightest tug. My advice to the manufacturer would be to make the prongs a tad longer. Any thick gauge wire will hold the plate too far off the wood for the prongs to bite. It would work well with Romex. I think it might also be handy as a plate to attach something magnetic.
