We've had one of these toilet flappers in the main bathroom for a couple of weeks now & it has been working well.It was easy to install & eliminated the 3 AM ghost flushing.The chain length was too long initially & caused me to have to hold the handle down for awhile for it to flush, but shortening the length was easy (didn't have to uninstall) & corrected the problem.It feels reliably pliable out of the packaging so I expect it to continue performing well for a good long time.

I'm giving these a 4.5 star rating.The rubber is thick enough to hold up, but nicely flexible which makes them easy to install.The quality of the rubber seems to be good so they should last a while.They fit the 3" opening well so that they seal completely and don't get stuck.The only thing I really have an issue with is the length of the chain being on the shorter side which doesn't allow as much choice in how far you want to push the flush handle before it flushes.$7.50 each is pretty good value.

This review has taken some time and for that I apologize sincerely. Shipping and packaging was fast and great. My leaking toilet would have been fixed long before now.The problem was we were redoing our bathroom and the construction team we hired ran into a problem with our sub floor plumbing and getting things ready in order to reset our toilet—which itself is not that old.I wanted to be able to do a honest review for this product and that included being able to see how it worked after getting the toilet back in place and flushing.I am glad to say that it has all went well. Besides liking the color of this flapper, we love the fact that not only do we have a remodeled powder room, but we have a toilet that finally works properly when flushed.Our old flapper was a dirty white color when we removed it. Plus, the chain on the old flapper was rusted—which was no help either. The material of the older one was flimsy, cracked, and worn—and it was not even that old!This product’s material is so much stronger and after flushing it reseats in the correct position with no gaps or leaks. I am sure our water bill will reflect this new toilet flapper in no time. When you think of the money spent just in water this little purchase is—well it doesn’t take long to decide it is an MUST item.Now you just need to get it on your to do list. We put it off way too long. It’s one of those things we would forget until we flushed the toilet or paid the water bill. I am sure from its sturdiness it will last a long time. I like how the color makes the flapper much easier to see when cleaning out the tank. Great buy for little money.It is such a relief to not have to continually lift the lid, put my hand into that cold water, and fiddle with the flapper to get the toilet to flush properly. And I do not miss hearing the toilet run constantly. I give this little blue necessary item 5 stars.

A well made replacement toilet flapper for my Kohler toilet, which needed a #1016546 flapper.I got the 3-inch transparent model with Product Dimensions of 8"L x 3.98"W with thick heavy rubber that easily lips over the locking extensions on the seal flush valve.For such a low price, you get 2 high quality flappers that seals perfectly the hole where the water drains to flush the toilet.

August 9, 2026:Very simply put, this resolved the noisy leak.The old flapper was so stiff that I couldn't stretch it off. I was concerned that forcing it might break the pegs (and create an unnecessary problem), so I cut it off with a hooked carpet knife. The new flapper went on easily. I set the chain hook length to match the old one and installed it in the same lever position as the old chain.Regarding the product page claims:• "Fits standard 3" tank openings..." YES• "...high‑quality, soft rubber that compresses and rebounds quickly for a tight, leak‑proof seal." YES• "...no special tools required." CORRECTIt will be useful to have an extra flapper ready when this one gets old. These are comparable to some similar products in price, although there are less expensive options. If asked about this product, I would say the quality is good and it does the job.

My toilet had been running continuously because the old flapper had become distorted with age and was no longer sealing properly, allowing water to slowly leak into the bowl. Replacing it with this new flapper solved the problem immediately. Installation was quick and easy—I simply removed the old flapper and snapped the new one into place without any special tools. Since I have two bathrooms in my condo, I really appreciated that this came as a two-pack, allowing me to replace both toilet flappers at the same time. The rubber feels durable, creates a good seal, and appears to be comparable to the original part.
