I really wanted to love this toilet paper holder because I like the overall design. The knurled detail gives it a modern, upscale look, and the construction feels solid. It also has a nice appearance overall, but unfortunately the color is where it falls short for me.The gold finish is much shinier than I expected from something advertised as brushed gold. I was specifically looking for a true brushed gold finish to match the other hardware in my bathroom, and this is noticeably more reflective and bright.Because of the finish, it doesn’t match my existing brushed gold hardware, which is disappointing. If you’re looking for a shiny gold finish, you may really like this, but if you need a true brushed gold to coordinate with other fixtures, keep the difference in mind.

This was a nice and easy upgrade to our guest bathroom.The room is a dark brown color with dark marble countertop on the sink. The fixtures are a rubbed bronze. This splash of gold really jazzed it up.Straight forward and simple to install. The screws lined up very easy. For the record, I'm not great with that kind of stuff. And I was able to do it.The small screw at the base is a tiny bit tricky, but you really only need to turn it a few times and you're done.Incredibly solid and heavy weight.The price point is great.I'm really happy with this 15-minute install that added such bang.

I wanted to get more brushed gold hardware for the bathroom since the faucet and door knobs were aleady brushed gold and this simple tp holder really went in well to tie the room together, The good- pros- the finish is bright and looks really good witht he paint, the mounting and bonding seem to be just fine although I am worried about the long term and seeing how it hold up against abuse, the adhesive and stability are fine and doing ok after a wekk, the installation was simple,. when you use it the tp stays in place and doesnt fall off so thats a win. greta value and a nice piece you can admire when ever you use the bathroom

I really like the look of this. The special knurling on the handle, so popular lately, really adds an extra touch of sophistication. This toilet paper holder is heavy duty and feels like a good quality metal. I appreciate that they list it as being 304 stainless steel. That should mean it won't rust or age quickly.The brushed gold color is very nice and I think it will go well with the rest of my bathroom hardware. I especially like that this is the kind that you can just place the roll on it and don't have to have that horrible spring-loaded roller. Why did we all use that for so long?

Great looking piece, and will be a good addition to a bathroom that is already decorated with other brass fittings/fixtures. This is a very simple but sturdy holder, with deep and well cut knurling. I really like the brushed brass look.The mounting system is one I am familiar with from other bathroom towel racks and hooks, and will definitely hold its own against bumps, given it is mounted properly according to the walls you have.No longer will I have to take on/off a spring-loaded roller, and can instead simply slip on/off toilet paper rolls! The little protruding stud makes sure it won't simply fall or get knocked off, which some other models out there on the market lack.

Having more accumulated baseball caps than any one person should, I opted to mount this TOILET PAPER ROLL HOLDER upright (vertical), on a wood cabinet in my garage, to hold said caps. As long as they have the adjustable, open headband, they can be easily nested and hung. I have 10 on it, and maybe only half the available space is used. Conveniently located, and now all in one place (to the delight of my wife :)AS A TOILET PAPER HOLDER, mounted in the usual fashion, this gold colored unit would indeed do the job, using the supplied hardware (incl. instructions, should one need), assuming the gold-ness coordinates with one's decor. It is not a flimsy unit, but has a nice, sturdy feel to it. It should also be noted that as traditionally mounted, it orients as pictured, it cannot be reversed (with the end knob being on the left, should that matter).
