Our basement is unfinished, so we have several cheap exposed bulb fixtures. I wanted to put a movie watching nook down there as an escape from the summer heat. These socket adapters were exactly what I needed to get this set up. I can plug the ceiling mounted projector in directly. No running cords up the wall and trying to hide them. It's all overhead and looks great. We use a fire tv stick with it, and that's powered by the USB port. It's really the perfect solution for me.Installation was easy. I'm no electrician, but can match up wires when I'm replacing something and I can use a screwdriver too. That's all you need here. The light works just as well as the original fixture. Just as bright and no delay when switched on. I couldn't be happier with this. It'd work great for Christmas lights, security cameras, fans, or anything else you want powered from above.

Works great as a night table lamp base with a USB charging port and handy electrical outlet. Just clipped the end off an old extension cord and wired it in a few minutes.

Does exactly what it advertised to do, good product, no issues so far. The usb port is slow charging only, thats my own issue but it powers my eufy camera just fine.

The good: it works, the advertised features are all there. The ability to connect the light bulb and the power-outlets to separate circuits is especially nice -- you don't have to use it, but you can, if you want the power plugs (both AC and DC) to keep working, when the light is off.The flaws: taking out the screw hole-covers was difficult, when I had the device in my hands. It will become even harder, when you decide to remove the already-installed device for whatever reason. For that reason I decided to to NOT put the hole-covers back in.The other flaw is the labeling of the wires. The above-mentioned possibility to use two separate circuits could be helped, if the device's wires for each circuit were easier to distinguish.As it is both pairs are labeled simply as "N" (for neutral) and "L" (for load) -- which pair is connected to the light socket, and which powers the power-outlets, is not immediately obvious.That said, the listed flaws affect you once -- during the installation. Once you install it, you'll enjoy the functionality every day.One more thing -- for another dollar (or less) they could've put another USB port there, for USB-C cables. Sigh, nothing is ever perfect...

This is exactly what I was looking for. I will use the plug for Christmas lights while not losing the light socket. I also plan to use the USB for a camera. The wiring was straight forward. I wired it so that the outlet and USB are always on and the switch controls the light. The hardest part for me was securing the fixture to the ceiling. I don't love the mounting screw holes design. But once installed, it seems perfect for what I want it to do.
