Outdoor Junction Box

This is a very well made box. The locking mechanism works just as expected. All of the wiring connectors you should need are included which should make installation a breeze. You have to drill your own holes where you want the wires to come in so that gives you flexibility. It has a gasket ensuring a weather proof enclosure. I was wanting to use this to hold a small USB power supply for a camera but the box was just too small and I also became worried about putting something that produces heat inside of a non-vented ABS container.

I'm not certain exactly what this junction box is for. It seems like is truly waterproof, and it seems like it would keep dust out, but it is very small for a standard junction box, and it doesn't seem like you can mount an outlet easily. I suppose an electricians box of tricks there are many things that could be using this, but is not useful I think for a standard outlet or standard electrics.

I live on a 40' catamaran and electrical enclosures are essential to protect wire junctions. I have many on my yacht, and anticipate installing many more. So naturally I ordered this when it became available.This is a small unit, perfect for spoke-hub wiring topologies, such as for lighting. Everything fits together tightly, as it should. The quality and durability are both assured by the solid construction. These look exactly like they should, with all of the features of the 'big boys'.I found this easy to work with and would order again.

I purchased this enclosure to house a buck-boost AC-DC board for my outdoor Wyze camera setup. I prefer building my own solution powered by my house number light, and this box is the perfect compact size for that type of project.The build quality is excellent; the latch is firm and secure, and the rubber seal appears to be high quality. It also comes with everything you need for mounting to drywall or masonry. My only critique is the included cable glands—they are quite large ID for such a small box. I plan to use smaller rubber grommets I already have on hand, as the provided connectors are overkill for this specific size.It is impossible to judge long-term UV resistance this early, but I will monitor how it handles the harsh Southern California sun and update this review if I notice any weathering issues. Overall, it is a great hobby box that checks all the right boxes—pun intended! I highly recommend it for any DIY hobbyists.

I have a need to wire a 120V extension cord with a USB-C charger into an outdoor enclosure to wire up a camera. This box is the perfect size for the project.It is a waterproof box with gaskets. It is undrilled and requires custom drilled holes as required by the project. The included grommets allow the cables to pass through and seal out the weather.The lid snaps closed and can be secured with a small padlock or tie wrap.The base can be directly attached to a surface with the included screws straight through the back of the box. They also include some mounting brackets to allow alternate mounting methods such as tie-wrapping it to a post.I am really impressed by the box itself and all the hardware and gaskets they include with it. It has numerous uses and is compatible with many projects. It is a nice small inconspicuous box with a good coloration to match numerous exterior surfaces.Quite a significant value for its sturdy build quality and all the included hardware and grommets.

Perfect small outdoor box that has a secure closure and is waterproof. Has a hole so you can use a small padlock if needed. It is NOT predrilled so you can drill where you need the hole(s). Usable inside area is about 2x3.

This little junction box is great and is just that, Little. This thing is super tiny. Definitely make sure you do your measurements before hand unlike me and unfortunately, the junction box is a tiny bit smaller than what I needed it to be. However, I will find a use for this, and I am quite impressed with the materials that have been used as well as the gasket material. I have tested this by simmering water before making any sort of holes in it and it does keep water out very well even being submerged, which is impressive. It does come with the parts and pieces that you need to mount it as well as the cable gaskets however, be aware that this is not pre-drilled and you will need to find the right size drill to correctly attach the cable gaskets. Overall, this thing is great for anything really small however, like I said, just make sure you double check your measurements and the size of what you were planning on using this for and make sure that this very very very small junction box will be able to house what you're needing to house. Overall highly recommended.
