I replaced the original shower head in my son’s bathroom because the water pressure was not very good. Installation was quick and easy, and the chrome shower head looks great. It made a noticeable difference in the water pressure and provides a much stronger, more enjoyable spray. The improved pressure feels especially good after a long day of football. This was a worthwhile upgrade for the kids’ shower.

This is a very nice, brushed satin nickel single head shower fixture that is 4” round. It has a stain resistant finish and its face is made out of silicone, to resist calcium buildup. I have other Hansgrohe showerheads which have the silicone fronts, but have found that while easier to keep clean and reduce calcium buildup, at our house anyway, buildup still happens, but definitely less than a hard plastic or metal face. Probably every few years, I will take a little plastic bag and pour about a cup of vinegar diluted with some water and tie it to fixture. Just be careful if you have a marble tile shower or tub surround as vinegar can damage marble. I find that getting the calcium off is much easier than removing it to soak. After letting it sit for a few hours, ideally overnight, the calcium buildup is virtually gone, and whatever remains brushes off with an old toothbrush. My fixtures are over ten years old and after cleaning, they look brand new. I have started changing out all of my fixtures to these rubber head ones. This showerhead is fixed, but works perfectly with my shower system which has a diverter for a handheld to make it a dual head system, which is my preferred setup for the ease of cleanup.

I’m very happy with this Hansgrohe Activera Q high-pressure showerhead. It has a classy, modern design with a small, round, flat chrome head that doesn’t take up a lot of room.Most important -- it produces a great shower spray. My water pressure is kind of low, so I can't speak to the high pressure aspect -- but I can say this is really good! The spray is easy to control and the head rotates, so it’s flexible and easy to position exactly where you want it.It’s a smaller simple, well-designed showerhead that looks classy and works very well. Five Stars.

Not the greatest shower head, but much better than a cheap Delta, etc. I was a little bummed when I received my item, as it was not the chrome version I ordered. However, our guest bathroom is chrome and black, so the black I received will suffice.The head is light weight, but feels sturdy. There are plenty of silicone holes to provide a nice pressure to feel clean. There is no ability to adjust the spray, so it is a one spray fits all head. I have yet to clean it, so I am not sure how cleaners will affect the finish. There was some light dust on it when received, and wiping that off with a sponge did not leave any marks.If you desire a nice looking and quality made shower head, and do not require multiple spray options, this is a solid choice. While it is a simple head, it looks sophisticated and worth more than the price.

This is a nice shower head. It has the silicone holes which makes it easy to remove any mineral build up. I am going up pair it with a filter also. This makes for a good replacement shower head, especially if you are moving and you have one of those $100+ shower head filtration systems that you want to take with you to the new place, yet want to leave the new buyer or tenant with something of quality.
