Very sturdy and durable, Looks great.

[Color: Brushed Nickel, Size: 1.75 GPM]
This whole setup is very well made and it looks really good. The shower nozzle sprays well (vid attached) and there are no leaks in the entire system. Each junction has a thick washer so it all seals together really well. The install was fast, very easy and great compatibility with my existing standard sized plumbing. The production quality is very good and so is the overall functionality. I appreciate the adjustability too, the height can easily be changed. I think this is a good value considering it seems very durable and the install was fast. This is not the cheapest shower set, but it is very good quality and I dont think it will need to be replaced any time soon.

Very nice set of Hangrohe handheld with 24-1/2” on center holes to mount slide barVery nice set o...

I am replacing some Hansgrohe bath fixtures in a home built 11 years ago. This one that I am reviewing is part of their Activera line, which is similar to the one we have. The fixtures have held up, but after 10 years, the handheld is starting to look a bit worn and this will renew them to like we just renovated. We have existing holes for the original slide bar fixtures that look just like these in this kit. I don’t even need to take off the original mounting bracket. The finish I ordered is a shiny chrome, with 24-1/2” mounting holes center to center. This kit includes also a new, small size 4” handheld unit on a nice metallic rubber hose, super easy if you have an existing mounting set up which can accommodate one screw on each end 24-1/2” on center, and since there is not anything specific to the brand in the slide bar or the handheld unit, if whatever brand you have can accommodate the 24-1/2” on center mounting holes similar length, this might work for you. There is a little bit of wiggle room on the mounting plates to both cover existing holes if they are shorter than 24-1/2”, and also a smaller amount of wiggle room if your holes are wider.

Powerful Spray with a Clean, Premium Look

[Color: Brushed Nickel, Size: 1.75 GPM]
The hansgrohe Activera S is a well-designed handheld shower head that combines strong water pressure with a sleek, modern appearance. The Rain spray provides a full and refreshing flow, and the flexible nozzles help maintain a powerful, even spray. At 2.5 GPM, the water flow feels generous and relaxing without being overly harsh. The brushed nickel finish looks elegant and matches nicely with other bathroom fixtures. I especially like the 25-inch slide bar, which makes it easy to adjust the shower head to a comfortable height for different family members. The handheld unit is lightweight, and the ergonomic handle feels secure and comfortable to hold.Installation is straightforward because it connects to a standard shower hose. Overall, this is a high-quality shower system with excellent water pressure, flexible positioning, and the solid workmanship expected from hansgrohe.

Several design flaws, not for meSeveral design flaws, not for me

[Color: Brushed Nickel, Size: 1.75 GPM, Color: Brushed Nickel, Size: 1.75 GPM]
I ordered this Hansgrohe hand shower with slide bar in brush nickel color for renovation of a beach apartment. We own several Hansgrohe bathroom fittings, and we really like the brand and the quality. Right out of the box the shower looks beautiful and elegant. The slide bar if found was rather thin and even on the flimsy side. It is only fixed to the wall by a single screw on top and one at the bottom. I personally did not like this concept, the stability that I was looking for the slide bar was not there. The button to activate the slide is also very stiff and you need more than one hand to push the button and move it down the slide. But the worst thing is the shower hose. I was expecting a flexible hose like I have in 4 other bathroom in two properties (all of them with hand showers), with clean soft lines, but what you get is a plastic or hard rubber hose that is extremely stiff and came twisted in the box in such a way that I could not remove the “curved twisted memory” already present from the box, so on getting ready to install the shower hose, it had the weirdest curvature that I have seen in a handheld shower head, it would not straighten down even If I pull hard both edges. The hose is incredibly stiff and hard; it almost made me laugh at how weird the hose would look once installed and that alone made me desist from the installation. I think Hansgrohe needs to rethink this flaw, the hose needs to be completely redesigned for one with soft easy flexible material. At least for me this was a failure of design.
