This is a high quality latch set for your storm or security doors. Everything you need to install it is included. This looks and functions so much better then the original cheap hardware that came with my door. It fit the door thickness perfectly and very snugly. The door now hols tighter without any play or wiggle when you pull and push on the closed door. The syle and finish is very high end looking. Such a great new look and a great value for the money. I highly recommend this product.

Context/useI needed a replacement for a broken screen door handle, and this set worked well for that purpose. Door hardware is never the most exciting thing to replace, but when a handle breaks, it becomes very annoying very quickly. This was a nice solution once installed.ProsThe matte black finish looks nice and modern, and the handle feels like a solid replacement. I like that the set is ambidextrous, because that makes it easier to use depending on the door setup. It includes the lock and hardware needed to make the repair feel complete. Once installed, it looks much better than a broken or worn-out old handle.ConsI did have to drill new holes, which was the hardest part of the installation. That may not be a big deal if you are comfortable with basic tools, but it is worth knowing that replacement may not line up perfectly with your existing door holes. Measure first and expect a little adjustment.ConclusionOverall, this is a great replacement handle set. It looks good, works well, and solved the broken screen door handle problem. The drilling was the only real hassle, but it was manageable.

This is a huge improvement over my shiny brass (and very weathered) handle set on my Larson storm door.It is pretty much a direct replacement, but can be a little finicky to assemble. The only reason for that comment is attaching the snap ring to the back of the handle. You will definitely need a set of snap ring pliers - which I have, but wasn't expecting to use. Other than that, it includes all the necessary hardware and the instructions are clear.The handle is more substantial than the Larson and looks more modern, in a good way. The fit and finish is top notch, and the handle functions as intended. One item specific to my installation, I had to shim the striker plate out about 3mm so the latch would engage reliably. Looking at my Larson that I removed, the striker plate on it has a small bend in it (from the factory) that aids in the engagement of the latch. You could stick a couple of washers behind the striker plate and it would pop it out about 1/4" and it will engage. I ended up designing and 3D printing shim for behind the striker plate and it works fine. I only 3D printed something because I am always looking for opportunities to use the printer - a couple of washers would work perfectly fine and I would have used that if I didn't already own a printer.

This storm door for my patio door is exactly what I needed. Right now, I have an Anderson door that is beautiful, and it is very well-made too. And It has always served me well over the years. The only reason I even considered getting this specific storm door is that it has a lock and key. I never thought I’d be the kind of person to rave about a lock for our screen doors handle with a lock… but here is why I am so excited about this. Not only is it beautiful, but it is a perfect fit. The zinc-alloy material is solid and sturdy, and everything is included for the installation, which was simple and straightforward. Almost painless, just: pop out the old, slide in the new, and voilà — the lock is working smoother than we thought it would be. This can be attached to the right or left. The durability and quality of this door handle feel sturdy, not flimsy, and here’s the kicker: i would think that the cost of this well-made door handle would be much more, but it is not. This is a well-made door has a beautiful design that looks better than the one that we currently have, and the fact that is lock and key, make this an incredible value. This lock looks fantastic, and for the cost, I highly recommend this product.
