I am currently revamping our bathroom vanity lighting layout, and this traditional wall mount sconce brings an absolute touch of elegance to the room. Use Case:I needed a small light for reading at night on the side of the bed. I didn't have a pre-existing sconce there, so I had to get a professional electrician to run the wiring and do the installation.Highlights:• The build quality is nice and feels solid once mounted.• It has a very clean and professional look on the wall.• The compact size is perfect for tight spaces or narrow applications like a walkway.Consideration:• The light output is minimal; it works for a reading nook or a hall, but it definitely will not illuminate a whole room on its own.Someone wanting a small, polished accent light for a specific spot will be happy, provided they are prepared to hire out the hardwiring.

This wall sconce is clearly a quality piece. The polished nickel finish feels solid and well done, the shade sits nicely, and the overall construction gives the impression that it should hold up well over time. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted it feels secure and properly finished rather than flimsy or cheaply assembled.Where it loses a star for us is mostly in the appearance. There’s nothing wrong with the design, but it just feels a little bland in person. The traditional shape is clean and safe, but it doesn’t have much personality or visual impact. If you want something understated, that may actually be a plus, but for us it was just a bit too “blah” compared with some other fixtures.That said, the quality and value for money are still very good. It does what it’s supposed to do, feels durable, and looks polished enough for a hallway, bathroom, or bedroom. We just wish the design had a little more character. Four stars from us.

I love this sconce and ordered one with the hopes of buying a matching second if the first one was a high quality item.Let me say this...it's gorgeous and chic - especially with the longest stem. Just a simple, elegant - instant style cred.Quality is fine overall, not incredible, but good enough that I can tell that it won't break down. It's not a super high end piece and finishing wasn't incredible - some of my black paint was kinda chipped, but in an inconspicuous area. Materials are all metal and wiring/ electrical bits are standard, not bad at all.My issue comes from the fact that I received a lamp shade with a cage that won't seat onto the body of the sconce because the circumference of both parts is the same, so the shade won't fit over the sconce and allow me to tighten it all together with a bulb, as it was designed to.I'll now have to reach out to the company and try to explain the issue and hope for some favorable resolution. They are very reputable, so I'm confident that I will get be okay, but definitely a headache and disappointment.I'll update when I get more info.

I’ve installed a lot of light fixtures over the years. We’ve owned our house for about six years, and during that time I’ve replaced every single light fixture inside and outside the house, including ceiling fans, flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers, wall lights, exterior fixtures, and probably a few fixtures I’ve replaced more than once because apparently I enjoy creating work for myself.All that to say, I’ve seen plenty of good light fixtures and plenty of bad ones. This is one of the good ones.The overall quality is immediately noticeable. The black finish looks clean and even, the white linen shade gives it a classic look, and nothing about the fixture feels cheap or flimsy. It has a simple traditional design, but that is exactly what makes it so versatile. I could see this working in a dining room, hallway, bathroom, bedroom, entryway, or beside a mirror.I also really like the adjustable stem setup. It includes interchangeable 6-inch and 12-inch stems, and it can also be installed in a shorter configuration depending on the look you want. That flexibility is useful because wall sconces can look awkward quickly if the proportions are off. Being able to adjust the height makes it easier to fit the fixture to the room instead of forcing the room to fit the fixture.The linen shade softens the light nicely, and the E12 candelabra bulb keeps the fixture looking proportional instead of bulky. Just note that the bulb is not included, so you’ll need an E12 bulb, up to 25 watts or an LED equivalent. It can also be dimmable if you use the right dimmable bulb and compatible wall dimmer.Installation is straightforward if you are comfortable replacing hardwired light fixtures. As always, turn off the power and use common sense, or hire an electrician if you are not comfortable with electrical work.Overall, this is a very nice wall sconce. It looks elegant without being overly fancy, the finish is attractive, the shade looks crisp, and the adjustable stem design is a genuinely useful feature. It is the kind of fixture that can fit a lot of different rooms and decorating styles without looking dated. Five stars.

Everything needed for mounting is included except the light bulb. It uses an E12 candelabra-base LED bulb (up to 25 watts) and is dimmable when used with a compatible bulb and dimmer switch.I originally ordered this as a night light for my hallway. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use it there because I didn’t read the product description carefully enough—my hallway light fixture is mounted on the ceiling, while this is a wall sconce. I’ll definitely find another place for it, though, because it’s far too beautiful not to display.

This is not one of those wall sconces where the shade arrives crooked, the hardware feels flimsy, or the light bulb looks like it’s sitting unevenly. Everything has a clean, well-made appearance.The design is simple, but that’s exactly what makes them so versatile. The clean lines would look perfect in a modern space, but the design is understated enough that it wouldn’t clash with French country, mid-century modern, traditional, or even a more eclectic decorating style.I especially love the white shades. They look crisp and timeless, and while you could technically change them if you wanted to, I don’t think you would really need to. They work beautifully with the overall design.I have an electrician scheduled to install mine, so I can’t speak to the installation process personally, but the fixture itself is very straightforward in design.I tend to change my decorating style pretty regularly and don’t really stick to one specific aesthetic. My home is fairly eclectic, so I really appreciate finding pieces that can work with different styles. These are high-quality enough to look elegant now but neutral enough that I don’t think they’ll look out of place if I completely change my decor in the future.Overall, these are beautifully made, incredibly versatile wall sconces with a timeless design. If you like to change your decorating style or simply want lighting that won’t quickly look dated, these are an excellent choice.
