We've been dealing with quite a few flying insects in our backyard, so I decided to try this magnetic screen door and it has worked great. It's made a noticeable difference in keeping the bugs outside while still allowing plenty of fresh air into the house.The magnetic closure is especially convenient. It's easy to walk through without having to open or close a traditional door and the magnets come back together on their own once you pass through. This makes it really handy when you're carrying something in or out.The mesh feels sturdy and provides good coverage, while still allowing air and light to pass through. Installation was also straightforward and didn't require any complicated tools or modifications.I also like that the screen is hands free and easy for people and pets to use. The included straps are a nice bonus when you want to keep the screen open.Overall, this has been a simple but very effective way to enjoy the backyard without constantly letting flying insects into the house. This bug screen that attaches to our door has been a great addition. We had to take off our storm door, so once it was up, we noticed a real decrease in bugs getting inside. It’s been especially helpful with our busy kid who’s constantly going in and out and the magnetic screen closes fairly well behind him, so we don’t have to worry about insects sneaking in. We also like being able to leave the door open when he’s playing on the front porch, since it lets us keep a better eye on him while still keeping the bugs out.

This magnetic screen door closely resembles those as seen on tv ones. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same thing and just branded differently. It doesn't come with the push pins like the ASTV one does. The sticky tab if comes with does stick really well, but if you live in a hot or humid area it will not last very long so pins or wide head nails (to prevent tearing) are highly recommended. This screen was easy to install and didn't take much time at all. However one thing to consider is the way it mounts. this is meant to go along the wall around the door. Unfortunately because our doorway is not aligned with the outside wall, and the door opens in, the only way I can hang this is by going on the sides and top of the door frame. That causes the screen to get pulled in weird directions which unfortunately effects the use of it. I wish I had seen that before ordering. This would work best on a sliding door, or a flat wall with a door that swings the opposite direction.Now on to quality. It's not the best quality material. Its thin and fine mesh that feels a little stiff. It does allow for a lot of airflow while also preventing most bugs from getting in. So it does as you expect it to do. I gave it three stars because of the low quality and trouble I had hanging it. For what you get the price is a little high

This magnetic screen door is great! It came with everything needed to install this curtain. It was very easy to install because it was the exact measurement for the frame of our garage door. I made sure I read and followed all instructions carefully. I was able to install the curtain perfectly flat around the sides of the door frame. The middle opening with magnets are well aligned and automatically closes flat after opening and closing. I installed the middle part just a tad bit higher than the rest. I also reinforced both left and right top corners by securing each corner by a nail. I also secured the top middle by adding push pins on each side as well for support. I've had one like this before and learned the key points of where to secure them.With this magnetic screen installed, we can actually leave the door open to let natural air into the house. We are able to keep flies and bugs out of the house, except when they go through the bottom of the curtain although I noticed that they usually stay above at a higher level.It's been a week now and so far it's holding up well. It still hangs flat, magnets are still working great and still no issues since day one. We go through this door multiple times a day. It looks really sturdy, just make sure to follow instructions to the T and it will really serve its purpose! I highly recommend this curtain!
