Great vent cover for my duct box. Metal material in a black finish which I’m so grateful they offer! The fins are truly adjustable to your need. The lever handles the direction of the back horizontal fins open or closed and each of the front fins running vertically you hand adjust so you can direct each fin exactly where you want it. Simply move the fin left right or open with your hands one fin at a time super easy to do and it gives you the ability to personalize your airflow for your space! So if you prefer over half of it pointing towards a specific area you can do that it’s great!! Very happy with the quality and design of this vent and love the dark color option having it available in the black!

FYI (my issue, not product) I was hoping to use this as a floor air vent, but the adjustment arm does not allow it to be used safely. Anyway, this is a very well-made and durable HVAC vent that can easily be customized for your individual Heating & Cooling airflow needs.

I purchased this vent cover in the 12x6 size to replace an old, rusty white ceiling vent, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. This matte black ceiling register cover looks fantastic once it's up, but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired.The vent itself is a massive aesthetic upgrade over old, builder-grade white covers. It provides a sharp, clean contrast against the light ceiling paint, and the sturdy metal construction sits perfectly flush without warping. The airflow lever glides smoothly, and the finish looks high-end. It is easy to adjust and was a perfect fit.However, my biggest complaint is that it did not come with any mounting hardware at all. I had to reuse my old silver screws just to get it securely up into the ceiling. Because the shiny silver sticks out like a sore thumb against the beautiful matte black finish, I tried coloring the left screw with a black Sharpie as a quick test. It still looks a bit off, so I am going to have to take them down and paint them properly to match the cover.It is a great register cover for modernizing your home, but the manufacturer absolutely needs to start including color-matched screws so buyers don't have to scrounge for old hardware and paint it themselves.

Moved into our house to find out the ac vents hadnt been cleaned or replaced in at least 30 years. Years of dust and ick built up. So it was time to replace.The black looks SO much better than off white covered in gross.They are sturdy enough to install. If youre taking your vents down constantly to wehre you nit pick any flaws, thats more of a you problem then a product problem. Seriously, who does that?The adjustment knobs work unlike my old ones, and they are smooth.I got the 10x6 opening and they fit perfeclty. Pushes more air out than the old ones and worth the price.
