It isn't quite substantial enough to anchor a main entryway as a single standalone light. However, if you're flanking a garage door or framing a back porch with a matching pair, the scale works much better. Great quality for the price, just consider buying two.

Ugh—I did not realize this listing was for one light fixture rather than a pair, so now I need to order another one! Thankfully, the fixture arrived fully assembled, which is a major convenience and should make installation much easier.I plan to place one light on each side of our garage, so I am waiting for the second fixture to arrive before scheduling the electrician. That way, both lights can be installed during the same visit.The light itself is really beautiful. The black metal frame and textured glass give it an attractive, upscale appearance, and the design is a little different from the exterior lights I usually see. It has plenty of character without looking overly decorative, and I think it will add a polished finishing touch to the front of our garage.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and appearance. Just pay close attention to the quantity when ordering because each fixture is sold separately.

I recently installed a large outdoor light above my front door. It was somewhat similar to this one with large glass panels. However, the difference was that the light had clear glass and not textured glass like this one. At first, I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but my wife really didn’t like how it looked with the bulbs clearly visible. Our previous light had textured glass similar to this one, so I guess we really got used to the way it looked. Well, luckily, I was still able to return the light and went ahead and ordered this one instead.The light arrived in huge styrofoam protection. It was very professionally packaged, with all of the glass panels further wrapped in more styrofoam insulation. I attached a photo of how the light arrived so you could see. When I took the light out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the entire fixture. The metal had a strong, durable feel to it and was clearly made for outdoor use. I have bought several similar outdoor lights online for the different doors around my house, and all of them were made from cheap, lightweight aluminum. But the metal on this light is iron, so it is much stronger and more heavy-duty. And the glass is thick and also clearly made to survive harsh weather. And I loved the size. From the bottom to the top of the light, it measures about a foot and a half. So, it is a large light, which is exactly what I wanted above my front door.Since I live in New England, I am really glad I ordered this light. Unlike most similar-looking outdoor lights sold online, this one is clearly made with much stronger and heavier material. And because of its size and large textured glass panels, it really is a beautiful light that you can’t help but stare at. Even though it was heavier than the previous light I installed, it has a strong mounting bracket and it wasn’t that difficult to install. And I chose to use long tubular E26 bulbs. When the light is not on, the bulbs are almost fully hidden by the textured glass, which is exactly what my wife wanted. And when the light is on, it gives off a beautiful reflective glow.This really is a great quality light that is a stunning statement piece to have installed on the exterior of your house. And because of how well-made it is with strong iron metal and because of its large size, it is priced really well. I highly recommend it.
