Exactly what I needed for a heavy output table I made. I don’t have a scale but lemme tell you, this thing is freaking heavy! I was honestly a little worried making it with these that they wouldn’t support it, but now that it’s about finished and I’m able to test them out, they fit the bill perfectly! This thing rolls like it’s 20 pounds! Plus, even in my super dusty shop, I’ve had them on about a week now, and I’m hearing zero resistance or grit so it sounds like the bearings are actually sealed quite well. Nothing bad to say about these at all. The mounting plates seem to be super heavy duty with screw holes in all the conventional and convenient spots, wheeels roll for a long time and smoothly on their own, and it doesn’t seem to be bothered one bit by at least a couple hundred pounds of workbench on them. I haven’t measured them but just eyeballing they seem to be pretty spot on at their 1.2” claim. All I know for sure is they’re definitely low profile and out of the way. Not even really tall enough to worry about the extra height on the table (I’ve got a super easy adjustment system on my saw table so I can leave this output table at a specific height and work around it.) Great value for the money for sure!

These low profile casters add a lot of stability compared to a similar rated regular height caster. If you have any projects where you need high weight like a workbench or large tool box but want to keep the center of gravity lower, a set of low profile casters are what you're looking for. These are ball bearing casters with a slight gap where you can easily lubricate the bearings. The low profile design makes a big difference if you have something that is top heavy. I took an old cabinet and mounted a miter saw to it but wanted to have it easy to move around my shop. I had tried larger diameter wheels but the whole thing was too easy to tip over. With these short, low profile, extra wide wheels the miter saw and cart are very stable when moving. You get 4 swivel casters, 2 of them with brakes or locking mechanism. Wood screws and washers are included for mounting.

These casters are great. They're very well made, feel incredibly solid, and the included hardware is every bit as good as the casters themselves, which isn't always the case with products like this.Despite their low-profile design, they feel extremely strong. I have very little doubt they can support the advertised 1,100 lb capacity. I'm using mine on a planer, which is nowhere near that weight, but it's still a substantial piece of equipment and these casters handle it without any issues. The wheels roll smoothly, the brakes work well, and the low height helps keep equipment from being lifted higher than necessary. That's especially useful for workshop tools where maintaining a comfortable working height matters.Bottom line (Would I recommend it?)Absolutely. Strong, smooth‑rolling, and built far better than I expected. If you need heavy‑duty casters in a compact size, these are an excellent choice. Easy 5‑star recommendation.

These looked capable in the photos, but casters rated for 1,100 lbs often feel flimsy once they arrive — not the case here. The high-density nylon wheels have a genuinely tough feel to them, and the heavy-duty steel frames with ball bearing swivels inspire real confidence when rolling heavier loads. Spinning and rolling is smooth and effortless even under significant weight, which isn't something you can say about every caster set in this category. The low-profile design is a nice practical design, keeping your equipment close to the ground rather than adding unnecessary height. Two of the four come with locking brakes, and when engaged, those wheels are not moving — no slipping, no creeping, no flex. One thing worth noting: like most casters, these perform best on smooth, clean surfaces, so keep that in mind before mounting them on something you plan to roll across rough concrete or debris-covered floors.

These heavy-duty, low-profile casters are excellent for a variety of DIY builds where you need high weight capacity without adding excessive height to your project. Here is a breakdown of my experience:Low-Profile Stability: The 1.2-inch height is fantastic for keeping the center of gravity low, which is crucial for stabilizing heavy loads and preventing any tipping.Surface Performance: While the nylon wheels are incredibly tough and versatile for different types of projects, they perform best and roll most effortlessly on smoother, flat surfaces.Perfect for Platforms: I am specifically using these to build a heavy mobile platform that will not be moved all that frequently. The impressive weight capacity combined with the built-in brakes makes them absolutely ideal for this kind of semi-permanent setup.Verdict: A fantastic, heavy-duty caster set that provides immense support and smooth movement while maintaining a very low center of gravity. Perfect for custom workbenches or mobile platforms!

These casters seem well built and perform under moderate loads. I attached these to some 2x4s so I could move a workbench around the garage. They come with 16 screws and 18 washers, though I am not sure the washers are necessary. Installation was a breeze and I gave myself a fat 1/4" gap at the bottom to clear the expansion gaps in the floor. The wheels roll alright over the seams, but need a little speed to not get stuck if they happen to sit in the groove. The brakes work well to stop the wheels from rolling, but they can still swivel a bit. The brake lever/foot actuator is a bit stiff out of the box, though I expect them to loosen up over time. Overall they will work well for my application and could probably be used a number of different ways

I ordered this set to use on the base of a home-built drum sander. These are very nice and should work perfectly. They arrived well packed with each castor wrapped individually in its own bubble wrap. The black finish (I assume it’s powder coat) is very nice. The wheels are a very dense rubber-like material which will be quiet when rolling. The ad says this set is good for up to 1100 pounds and that certainly seems possible judging from the wheels. My sander is only a couple hundred pounds so it should be a cakewalk for these. The casters also swivel 360 degrees on ball bearings. Two of the castors have a typical step-on-to-lock locking mechanism. The locks have a nice positive snap when engaging or disengaging. The set also comes with mounting screws and washers. The screws are phillips head wood screws with large round heads and about an inch long. In all, this is a nice set of heavy duty low profile castors at a fair price. I’m happy with the value.
