The only, and really not a negative, esthetic I would have preferred is a way to camouflage the cord. I'd totally buy it again if I had more space to put one in.

Oh, I love this lamp. The design goes very well with my room, love the remote feature and it also connects to my WiFi. But most of all. I just love the design!!

The first thing to note is this lamp comes completely disassembled. Even the shade screen has to be assembled. The instructions are pictures only, so you have to be intuitive. The quality of the lamp could be better. The screw holes don’t always align properly leaving small gaps where you can see the unstained wood. After putting it together, it is sturdy and stable, and looks nice, other than the gaps in the wood and the cord. They give you Velcro covers to try to hide the cord running down the side of a leg but they are noticeable as well. The really good thing about this lamp is the foot pedal to turn it on and the remote to turn it on. The remote has various light settings and a timer function. For an office or bedroom this works great. One star off for the design flaws. I adore this lamp, it's my new favorite thing!! It is SO convenient to have such a bright and large light source on remote! Of which, there are a ton of options and sensible presets! You can manually change the warm/cool and brightness, but the presets are fast single clicks. I also love there's an hour timer!!! The remote is magnetic and sticks to the bulb base area~ I SO appreciate this small but important feature. I've put magnets on all my other home remotes, so one less to do is amazing! It came already paired, so really just plug in and go!Assembly was super easy and fast, instructions were clear and intuitive. There were extra screws in case you lost one, and it came with the needed Alan wrench. Despite it's whimsy and interesting appearance, it's incredibly sturdy, there's no wobble or balancing issues. The shade I was skeptical about, but it was so easy to put together, made of quality strong material and not flimsy or tipsy at all! It hooks in securely around the entire top and bottom, a really snug fit.It also has a floor foot switch for on/off, which is standard construction components.My only complaint is that there is an obvious "back side", where all the screws are visible. If they'd included some simple finishing stickers to hide the large screw holes it'd be much more pleasing. That being said, it still looks beautiful from any angle.Lastly some of the wood planks were scratched/worn in areas, so you could see though the dark finish to the light wood. Not obvious unless you're right next to it, but still a bit sad for being brand new and the price point. The wood planks were shipped in a plastic bag, but no bubble wrap, so I'm not sure if they were damaged before or during shipping. Providing a tiny/stain pen or changing shipping protection wrap could be two different solutions.Overall the versatility and convenience of this lamp are amazing, and something I wish I'd gotten a long time ago! Those features along with it's beauty, are totally worth the price!!

I ordered this floor lamp in the Amber Walnut color, and its beautiful! It has a gorgeous mid-century modern look, but it is also neutral enough to effortlessly blend into just about any home decor style.Assembly and True Measurements:The Setup: The lamp arrives completely broken down into several parts and does require assembly. I volunteered my husband and his power tools to put it together, which made the assembly process fairly quick and easy!The Height Discrepancy: One thing to note is that the listing title and the measurements shown in the product photos are a bit misleading. They claim the lamp measures 62" tall, but when fully assembled, it actually measures closer to 60.5" tall. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but it's good to know if you need exact height clearance.Remote & Light Features:The functionality of this lamp is amazing. It comes with a convenient floor on/off click button attached to the power cord, but it also includes a remote control. The remote has alot of features, it allows you to smoothly dim or brighten the light, change the color temperature (from a cozy warm amber to a bright daylight), use the preset lighting modes, and you can even set a timer so you don't accidentally leave it on all night.My Only Real Complaint (The Power Cord):The biggest downside to this design is the power cord. It is a thick black cord, and there is absolutely nowhere to hide it. The package does include Velcro straps so you can attach the cord to one of the wood legs, but honestly, wrapping mismatched brown Velcro around the beautiful walnut wood looks even worse. They really should have designed this to run the power cord directly up through the hollow inside of one of the wooden legs so it would be completely hidden. I’m going to have to get a little creative to hide it myself because right now, the hanging black wire kind of ruins the clean look of the lamp.Final Verdict:If you don't mind getting a little creative with some wire management, this is a sturdy, high quality, and beautiful lamp. The lighting settings are top tier, and it adds a wonderful warmth to the room!
