I installed this on a tape with paper dispenser and works perfectly giving me perfectly lines to mask. Installation was very easy on a masking dispenser. You're basically slipping it on and starting the paper roll with it. Very simple. Once installed, spray away. After spraying paint, this tape comes off very clean without any residue. The lines that it followed come out very clean and it's easy to feather. Other than that, this is made very well. The stickiness is very good and doesn't blow off during a spray of paint. As for the backside, it's like your typical masking tape. It is very easy to tear to length as well. Overall, this is a good amount of tape in this set. It's made very well and does the job in masking areas on your car very well which makes this tape well worth it.

Love the bright green color of this tape. I will mainly be using it to label food to keep track of a stuffed fridge and "best buy" dates like I'm in The Bear or something. Very nice size and easy to write on with a sharpie. Love hoe many it came with too, this will last me quite a long time. We will see if/how it works if I should use it as actual painters tape to paint and cut with. It does feel quiet sticky, which is good, but I do wonder about if it would leave any residue or remove any sensitive paint or materials from surfaces.

I love painters tape for all kinds of things - labelling items and taping things to walls or cabinets without leaving adhesive residue, masking for paint, glue or caulk application, wrapped around my hand as a pick-up for small debris on the cutting table and more.As far as I can tell, this tape works as well as the name-brand green painters tape and certainly cost a lot less. They arrived well-packed and with no edge denting at all. I’ve put a couple rolls in the pantry, a couple in the office and , a couple in the craft room and a couple in the workshop. These should last me a very long time .

I’ve used quite a few different brands of painter’s tape over the years, including the standard blue tape and Frog Tape, and this one compares pretty well. The tape itself feels thicker and more substantial than the typical blue painter’s tape, which makes it easier to work with and less likely to tear or fold over while applying it.It has a good amount of stick to it and stays in place while painting, but it doesn’t seem excessively aggressive. I’ve also had good results removing it without leaving behind a bunch of sticky residue, which is one of the things I dislike about some cheaper tapes.The biggest advantage for me is the price. It costs less than the blue tape and Frog Tape I normally buy, so I don’t feel like I need to carefully ration every piece. When I’m masking off larger areas or doing a job that requires a lot of tape, that makes a noticeable difference.It’s not some miracle product, but for the price, I think it’s a very practical alternative to the more expensive painter’s tapes. The thicker material, decent adhesion, clean removal, and lower cost make this a tape I’ll keep around for future painting and masking projects.

In my experience, automotive masking tape works better than regular painter’s tape even for household projects because it’s more flexible and easier to work around curves and odd shaped edges. And it holds up better around moisture and wet paint. And I have bought many different types of automotive masking tape in the past. When these arrived, I pulled off a few feet from one and worked it around some rounded molding and a few uneven areas. The tape bends around everything without bunching up and it doesn’t pull back. And after I rubbed it down with my fingers, it stayed pressed down. The tape feels like good quality and does not feel thin or cheap.I used it while brushing paint along a section of molding and I was really happy with how it worked. No paint crept underneath after I pulled the tape off. And there was no sticky glue left behind. Getting ten for $20 is a really good price because of the quality. It handled the curved areas really well, stayed stuck around wet paint, and came off without leaving anything sticky behind. I would definitely buy it again when I run out.

This tape works extremely well for repainting a teenager’s little driving issue that changed the color of a side quarter panel to match the yellow guide pole at the local drive-thru.It goes on easily, stays securely in place, and gives us clean paint lines without noticeable bleed-through. The tape also lifts and adjusts well when positioning it around curves and edges, which is especially helpful when working on vehicle body panels.With 10 rolls at 55 yards each, there is an impressive amount of tape in this package. I am not even going to mention to said teenager how many times I could repeat this repair with all ten rolls.The usefulness extends beyond full-size vehicles too. My nephew discovers that it works very well while masking his model cars before spray painting them, giving him cleaner lines on much smaller projects.Possible Improvement:A small reusable dispenser or storage box would be useful for keeping all 10 rolls clean, organized, and protected between projects.Bottom Line:Excellent strength, adhesion, and clean paint separation ~ exactly what I want from automotive masking tape.
