Desert Cactus Peel and Stick Wallpaper

I was pleasantly surprised by this wallpaper. I used it to cover a broken mirror that's built into my closet door. This led to a sub-optimal application process because the mirror flexed a little, making it hard for me to affix the wallpaper without leaving some bubbles or irregularities. I think it would be a lot easier to apply to a wall. Despite the small imperfections, I love the pattern and think it looks great.It is easy to cut the wallpaper to the proper size because the wallpaper backing has a grid pattern. I do recommend having someone help you apply the sheet; one person to hold the wallpaper, and one person to gradually peel off the backing while pressing it to the wall would help the wallpaper stick evenly and without imperfections.It was easy to line up the pattern. The photo I've attached shows one of the joins. I was hanging this wallpaper alone and on a springy surface, so my application isn't perfect, but I think that the pattern hides the "join" of the two sheets very well anyway. The surface seems like it will be durable and will stand up to light cleaning, if necessary, and the surface is just a little bit textured, so it looks more matte. The one thing I've taken a star away for is value. I think it's good quality peel and stick wallpaper, but it would take lots of the 118" sheets to cover an entire wall or room. That length was not sufficient to cover my entire closet door with a matched pattern, and this door is just a little bit smaller than an interior door to a room. So if you want to use this for an accent wall, I would recommend carefully measuring the wall and calculating how many rolls you'll need before you proceed. I'm thinking of buying a roll of a different pattern to cover the sides of a chest of drawers. I think that using these wallpapers as an accent on furniture or something else with a small surface area is a fun and economical way to use this product and jazz up my home.

This desert cactus peel and stick wallpaper is exactly what I was looking for in both quality and print for one of our bathrooms that has a cowboy ufo motif.The wallpaper is thick with that nice wallpaper textured feel typical of pasted wallpaper. The print isn't too large, like it's oddly shown in the product images, but smaller drawings that repeats nicely without making it look overly repetitive. The dirty cream base and the blue grey artwork works perfectly for a cowboy motif and will be placed above dark walnut stained wainscoting.It's priced really well, and make sure to pick up an extra roll or 2 prior to applying to ensure you'll have enough for aligning each panel correctly!

The thick, heavy-duty vinyl material holds up well during application and repositions without stretching or tearing, making line matching much easier for DIY projects. The vintage sketch-style cactus pattern has crisp detail and a smooth matte finish that disguises minor wall imperfections underneath. It adheres strongly to smooth, painted surfaces, though you will want a smoothing squeegee on hand to avoid trapping air bubbles along large sections.

I absolutely love the look of this wallpaper. The blue and cream color combination is beautiful, and the illustrated cactus pattern has a vintage botanical/toile quality that feels much more interesting than the typical Southwestern decor. It's desert-themed without screaming "rustic cactus gift shop," LOL.The print has a surprising amount of detail, with saguaros, prickly pears and other desert plants scattered throughout the landscape. I especially like the matte finish because it complements the old-fashioned illustration style and keeps it from looking plasticky. The vinyl itself has a nice thickness to it as well.As with any patterned peel-and-stick wallpaper, lining up the repeat takes a little patience, and I'd definitely measure carefully before cutting. Once it's up, though, the effect is fantastic. I could see this being especially pretty on an accent wall, inside a cabinet or bookcase, or even used for smaller furniture projects. Really lovely pattern.
