This pendant light is absolutely so sweet and pretty! The amber-gold glass shade has such a beautiful floral-inspired shape that gives it a soft, charming look without being too fancy. When the light is on, the warm amber glow makes the whole space feel cozy and inviting. I really love the contrast of the amber glass with the matte black hardware—it looks stylish and much more expensive than I expected. The adjustable cord is also a nice feature for getting the perfect height. Installation is pretty standard and simple for anyone comfortable installing lights. So we haven't actually hung it yet, but i did unbox and wire it up to make sure everything was intact and worked properly.For the price of this light fixture the quality is amazing. I know it's just a standard design on the bowl but the detail isn't lacking like some of the cheaper fixtures you see at menards or depot. The glass quality is fantastic, it's thick enough to be quality yet thin enough to allow light through beautifully.We are installing this in a rental cabin we are currently building, above a small kitchen bar and it's going to end up being the focal point when you walk into the kitchen. So, we needed a fixture that would give the impression of cleanliness and peacefulness, it is definitely going to do both.Oh speaking of cleanliness, this is going to be super easy to keep clean with a simple duster.I really like the fixture, and have actually ordered another one to replace the over bar fixture in the rental cabin we already have, bc the hanging beauty of this one just gives that serene feeling that one expects when walking into a cabin in the woods.Definitely recommend not only this fixture, but the other fixtures and products from this manufacturer and seller.

This light fixture is the perfect "over the sink" or "over the island" light. It is not a large, light for a whole room; it is an accent light for a localized area.The glass is nice and thick and the one I selected is a lovely deep green. The fixture itself is a sturdy metal. The cord is heavy duty, which is important since it has to support the heavy glass shade.Installation is fairly straight forward. Took me about 15 minutes, and that's because I take my time since wiring lights isn't something I do with any great frequency.I really like the look of this light and I think you will too.

The glass shade is considerably smaller than I was expecting, but this fixture is undeniably beautiful. The cord is easy enough to adjust longer or shorter, and it's no more difficult to install than most light fixtures: open the circuit and remove the old light, screw the base into the j-box, tether the body ground, connect the wiring, use the thumb screws to put the base on, and put the shade on with the plastic nut around the bulb base. Took me maybe 10 minutes, including adjustments to length and getting the excess cord neatly coiled inside the base of the fixture. I'll need to get a new set of bulbs. The shade gets a little washed by bright lights, and globe bulbs are a bit too large. In person, it's a lot greener than I could get to show in my photos, too. The glass shade is thick and heavy, so it seems sturdy against accidental knocks.

But 60 W is a lot for an LED light for most kitchen island situations; you’re going to either need a nine or maybe a 15 W LED light and because the people who are Dan will be able to look at your bulb get an attractive looking bulb one that I would call an Edison lightbulb where it’s clear glass and you can see the actual LED filaments in it. That way you may not need a dimmer with this fixture.The manufacturer states that the light is dimmable; of course, installation is easy, and they give detailed installation instructionsShould you choose to install yourself? I always give everyone a few important caveats about installing it yourself.First, make absolutely certain you’ve turned the power off at the circuit breaker control panel box. The circuit breaker control panel box is located in the basement of most homes. And in some homes, a circuit breaker control panel box is located in the garage, particularly if the home does not have a basement.Second, once you’re sure you’ve turned off the power, take an electrical testing device or voltage meter and test each and every wire in the junction box to make certain it’s no longer energized. I always carry a little red pen when I’m doing electrical work; when you push the button on the top of the panel, the red light lights. No point comes out, but if you put the pen's point near a wirelessly energized wire, it starts tripping like a bird, and if you put it near a 240 V dryer wire, it chirps even louder. This is an important safety device to protect you from dangerous electrical circuits.Third, many homeowners don’t know how to use a wire lock correctly. Most fixtures use wire locks, nuts for installation, brackets, and door plates, and the wire so you can connect the fixture wires to the home wires. Just for discussion purposes, let’s connect the black wire from the house service side, which is 14-gauge single-strand copper wire, to the black wire from the fixture, which is 26- or 28-gauge multi-strand copper wire. Remove the last half centimeter of insulation from both of these wires. Make certain tips and points are pointing in the same direction and/or adjacent to one another. Place a wire lock nut over both wires, covering them, insert them into the wire lock, and twist clockwise to tighten. A mechanical and electrical connection has been established.This is a beautiful fixture that will enhance your kitchen island eating area or your dining room area. You may still want to get a dimmer switch for this light, and if you do, get it in the same place you buy the bulb, as the bulb is not included in this package. When you buy the bulb and the dimmer switch together, get confirmation from management that they are compatible and that they won’t flicker or flutter as you dim the power.

As I continue remodeling my house, I have been replacing almost every light fixture throughout the house. Most of the new fixtures have a black matte finish because I like the cleaner, more modern appearance they give the rooms. However, I also like mixing in a few traditional elements and I felt this light did exactly that. The black finish keeps it looking modern, while the flower-shaped glass shade gives it more of a vintage look that adds some character instead of looking plain.The light arrived well protected with thick styrofoam insulation, which I attached a photo of. Once I unpacked it, I was really impressed with how nice the glass looked. The flower design looks really nice and doesn’t look like it’s overdone. And when the light is turned on, it the lighting has a softer appearance than a standard glass shade. The black finish also looks very nice and adds the modern element that I was exactly looking for. Everything feels well made, and it was easy to install and adjust the height exactly where I wanted it. I also like that it uses a standard E26 bulb, which makes it easy to choose different options for brightness.This light not only feels but it also looks much more expensive than its list price. And it is exactly the look I was hoping for. It combines modern elements with its black matte finish with the vintage floral design of its glass shade. I would definitely recommend it.
