I have to say these are really great ornamental candles. When placed in a window, they keep themselves off during the day but once the suns goes down they turn on. I put some cheap batteries in them to start (since each one takes two AA batteries) and they been lighting up every night for about three weeks and I haven’t had to change the batteries. So even with cheap ones, the battery life lasts a while. They’re about 7-8 inches tall when fully assembled so they don’t take up to much space. And they easily can be placed in any type of window. Or you can use them around other places and easily turn them on or off by twisting them 1/4 turn. Really good price for the collection of 6, whereas most others are around $4-$7 each. So this bundle is great. Only reason for the missing star is that I didn’t know I had to purchase batteries as they are not included. And as I stated above, they each require 2-AA batteries. Well worth it though. Adds a nice home feeling touch to the front windows of my house without any real effort and they don’t cause a distraction from being too bright or obscene. Just barely bright enough to notice in the outside but on the inside of your home with the blinds or shades dran, you can’t even see them. They have a built in light sensor that turns them off when exposed to natural or sunlight, whitish definitely helps save the battery life. Especially great for Halloween or winter seasonal decor.

This is a unique and fun to use 6 pack of dusk to dawn window candles. They are an impressive 8 inches high and I really like the 3D look of the flame. It's the 3D LED lamp heads flicker and glow and look great from all sides. They are quite bright and really stand out and give a very pretty illuminated look. The rest of the candle has a melted look that gives it a magical appearance. Keep in mind these are battery operated so you will need to use 2 AA batteries.( not included) There is a small hole on the bottom of the candle that you need to position towards the window that has a sensor that responds to light which is very cool. The square candle holders secure these well and keep them upright without wobbling. These would be great for the upcoming Fall/Halloween season.

These window candles look fantastic and give my home a warm, cozy holiday glow. The yellow light is soft and flickers nicely, and the black holders make them look a bit more stylish than the usual plastic ones. I will say they feel a little cheap in the hand, but once they’re set up, they still do a great job and look much better than expected.The dawn‑to‑dusk sensor is the real winner. They turn on right when it gets dark and shut off in the morning without me having to touch anything. Battery life has been solid, and all six worked right out of the box.Great value, great ambiance, and super easy to use.

It is activated by how dark it is, but the sensor must be facing where sunlight hits. They are made of quite cheap, lightweight plastic and are easily knocked over. I find these overpriced at 3$ apiece.
