Nice pump, runs on low voltage and is portable. It comes with a battery and a battery charger, which the listing is not very clear about in their photos, most of their photos do not show the battery and charger which is on the left side of my photo. The battery runs the pump so when the battery runs out, you'd need to recharge for further pump function. With an adapter, you could also run this from a solar panel. An example of a good use for this would be combine it with a solar panel to pump water for livestock, or any time you are not near grid power and need to pump something out in the boonies. It's small and light weight enough that you could easily carry this in a backpack with room to spare. Pumping speed seems to meet specifications. We are pleased with this unit and feel it is a good unit for the price if used for the correct kinds of jobs that it was designed for, ie when you need a versatile portable pump.
