Saved me two times already, definitely better to pick up before you need it

[Size: 11PCS]
These work really well when you need them, even if they spend most of their time just sitting on your shelf. I love how each piece has its own dedicated spot, and they snap in place well too. The case is a hard shell and makes it easy to transport if they need to leave your garage. I really recommend picking these up before you need them, because it really is unfortunate when you have to pause a job because you can't get a bolt or stripped screw out. The screw removal bits come with their own little case too, which has a dedicated spot inside the larger case. For the bolt extractors, they are pretty cool and do a good job forming to fit whatever they can grab. I've only used them a couple times, so I can't really comment on durability, but they are holding up well so far, and with only occasional use I think they should last a long time. I feel like for normal home DIY this probably has everything you need besides a long wrench with good leverage.

Decent budget set

[Size: 11PCS]
This helped for a couple of rounded-off studs on my old truck. The nut splitters were easy enough to use and worked great, cut through without problems. The extractors were ok once I got them seated, but one of the smaller ones started to round itself out when I put real force on it. Case is decent, keeps everything from rolling around in the toolbox. For the price it’s fine if you only need it a couple times a year. Not something I’d trust for daily shop use though.

Problem solvers

[Size: 11PCS]
Ever have a nut that just won't budge and it made you want to smash it? A sheared off bolt that ruined your schedule and wished you could just get on with it? With these, now you can! All jokes aside, this is a very handy tool kit to rid your projects of these kind of hold ups. Going to get parts from the scrap yard is easier with these too, you can just shear the nuts off and get what you need instead of messing about trying to get an entirely rusted on nut to cooperate. These held strongly into and onto everything I tested them on and sheared various nuts with ease. These are made to last and come in a portable carrying case to keep them organized since it's not something you'll need all the time. Good price for quality tools that you'll be glad to have when you need them.

Its okay

[Size: 11PCS]
I really wanted this bolt extractor kit to work, but I didn't have much luck with it on the studs I was using it for. The tools seem to be made of quality materials. They're easy enough to use by looks along for sizing, but I couldn't get them to bite hard enough to remove the studs I was trying even with heat. The nut splitters are strong and work well, maybe because they look like they're made of a stronger material. Okay value.

Great kit for DIY to get you out of trouble

[Size: 11PCS]
Quick to the Point* Well packed for durability* The metal used on the extractors are solid for serious heavy duty work* The case is excellent for keeping them organized and all together in one place* They are the right size for awkward locations like the back of the engine towards a firewall* Excellent grip* Easy to use once you get the hole made or lock on stud* Great deal and value for the horror and pain of getting a bolt extracted which is a nightmareIf you know you know, this is not a toy and for the kit this is a perfect DIY needing to get out of a hot situation with a bold that just lost its head. Obviously it is not limited to just automotive work, but hey if you know you know.Definitely worth the price

Solid backyard mechanic kit, just don't expect pro-grade finish

[Size: 11PCS]
I ordered this because who hasn't been in the position of needing to remove a stripped bolt at some point? It always seems to happen at the worst time, right in the middle of a project, at night when the parts shop is closed. Having a dedicated kit like this on hand rather than trying to jerry rig something makes a real difference. This kit is great for the guy like myself who likes to turn wrenches on his own vehicle without necessarily doing it full-time for a living. If you think these are "pro-grade" tools, you're shopping the wrong site. These aren't meant to hold up to daily abuse in a professional shop, and I don't think anyone should go in expecting that level of durability or finish. Setting those expectations aside, though, they do exactly what they're supposed to for the average guy working in his own garage. For all the backyard mechanics out there who need to reach for a kit like this once or twice a year, it should be more than sufficient. It got the stripped bolt out that started this whole search in the first place, and that's really all I was asking of it.

4 Stars – Useful Addition to the Toolbox, Though Long-Term Durability Is Still Unknown

[Size: 11PCS]
This extractor set strikes me as one of those tools that can be extremely useful when the situation calls for it. When you are dealing with stripped bolts, rusted fasteners, broken studs, or damaged hardware that refuses to cooperate, having a dedicated extractor set on hand can save a great deal of frustration. For that reason alone, I consider it a worthwhile addition to the toolbox. The overall concept of the set is practical. It is intended to address exactly the kind of problem that turns a simple repair into an aggravating mess: fasteners that are rounded off, seized, corroded, or otherwise damaged to the point that normal sockets and wrenches are no longer enough. Tools like this are not necessarily everyday items, but when you need them, you need them.Based on my first impression, the set appears well suited for that purpose. It gives the impression of being designed for real extraction work rather than just looking impressive in a case. The size assortment is useful, and it is the sort of kit that makes sense to keep around because sooner or later most people who work on vehicles, equipment, machinery, or rusty hardware will run into a job where standard tools simply are not enough.I am giving it 4 stars because it appears genuinely useful and has the potential to earn its keep quickly. The only reason I am not rating it higher is that extractor tools have to prove themselves over time. Long-term durability, resistance to chipping or wear, and how well the gripping surfaces hold up under repeated hard use are the real test. A set can make a strong first impression and still disappoint if it does not survive real-world abuse. For now, I would call it a solid specialty tool set and a worthwhile addition to the toolbox. It appears to be ready for the kind of work it was made for, but only longer-term use will show whether it deserves a full 5-star rating.

One of Those Kits You Hope You Never Need Until You DoOne of Those Kits You Hope You Never Need U...

[Size: 11PCS, Size: 11PCS]
This is one of those tool sets that doesn't get used every day, but when you need it, you're really glad it's in the toolbox. The kit includes bolt extractors, stud extractors, nut splitters, and spiral extractors, giving you several options depending on what kind of mess you're dealing with.My first impression was that the tools feel solid. The extractors have a good weight to them, and the hardened steel construction gives confidence that they're built for more than just light-duty work. The case is also well organized, with dedicated spots for each tool so you're not digging around trying to find the right size.I particularly like that this kit covers multiple situations. Whether you're dealing with a stripped bolt head, a seized stud, a damaged nut, or a broken fastener, there is usually something in the kit designed to help. Having the nut splitters included is a nice bonus since sometimes removing a damaged nut is faster than trying to save it.The sizing range is also practical for automotive, equipment, shop, and general repair work. Everything fits securely in the storage case, making it easy to keep the set together until it's needed.Like most extraction tools, success still depends on the specific situation and how badly damaged the fastener is, but it's nice having multiple extraction methods available in a single kit rather than buying them separately.Overall, this is a well-rounded extraction set that feels durable, comes organized in a sturdy case, and provides a variety of solutions for stubborn fasteners. It's the kind of kit that can save a project when a stripped bolt or damaged stud threatens to turn a simple repair into a much bigger job.
