This light has choices! You can install it with a dimmer switch that you purchase separately or just pick a temperature at installation. There are 5 levels you can set. But, that has to be done during installation as the switch is in the light itself. If you install it with a dimmer switch you can still set the temperature at a higher or lower temp to get the light level that you desire for wherever you are placing that light. I am putting this in a hallway so I am not adding the dimming switch and I have set it up for the midrange level of light. Not too bright, not too dim, but just right. The light itself is very well made. The mount is sturdy metal and the LED's are put together nicely. All in all a great light that I would definitely recommend it!

Modern look ceiling light, with 25 watt's, its a bright light. The diffuser in front of the led elements gives a nice soft light even with the brightness. There are 5 different color temperatures ranging from a cool white up to a nice warm lamp. There is a switch under the diffuser that allows you to swap the color temperature. This also a direct mount fixture, it simply screws to the junction box with included hardware OR, you could direct mount this to the ceiling material since it is so light weight. You will need wire nuts or clips to secure the wires of the fixture to the supply wires. The shell of the fixture is black metal with a white inside to reflect the light. The light is also dimmable based on the item listing. At 25 watts, you may want to dim the light to a less bright level. This would be nice in a hall, a laundry room, maybe a large closet or bathroom. Its a nice light, and would provide plenty of illumination for any location if this is the style of light you are looking for. Attractive fixture that provides plenty of light, also dimmable too. This is a beautiful light fixture. It’s basically a 1-foot light fixture. The manufacturer says 11.8 inches, which is close enough to 12 inches for me, and they like to be precise. I think because they’re afraid they’ll be criticized. Your items will be returned if they don’t tell exactly the full dimension, but 12 811.8 inches is foot in my book, and it has five separate color dimmable temperatures between 2700° Kelvin and 6000° Kelvin. I assume these temperatures are selectable during installation, but they may be modifiable after we determine them during a future inspection. This would be excellent lighting for a kitchen. It’s 25 W, which I’ve learned the hard way is more than enough for most kitchens.I’d say I’ve learned the hard way because I put a 40 W ceiling weight in my kitchen which is 15‘ x 15‘ and the white is great when people are cooking Thanksgiving dinner there is four or five people in they’re working recipes and mixing and things like that, but if you if I walk in at 9 o’clock at night to get a beer and turn the light on it basically almost blind it’s very 40 watches too much 25 W probably just perfectThis is also a general utilitarian light that you could use in bedrooms in hallways many different rooms where you want a light and it’s because it’s a day saving money only putting a 25 W wide in and remember the formula 9 W of LED light is equal to 100 W of incandescent light so that’s like putting 2 1/2 2 1/2 hundred watt lightbulbs and a fixture and are we getting I only have to pay 25 W to the power company big saving factor very cost-effective and gives you very good value for your money.The manufacturer says that installation is simple. See the attached video for the exact details of how installation should be performed, but I always stress to every person that I ever try to give advice to about electrical work, make certain you’re absolutely sure you’ve turned the power off at the circuit breaker level to any junction box that you’re going to attempt to work on. And you should always carry an electrical testing device. I do ask most electricians to verify that the energy is off. I use an electronic device that you turn on. It looks like a carpenter pen without touching the wire senses with electrical current, whether it does or not. It trips like a bird when there’s 110 V and the light flashes fast twice as fast. This is an important safety device that can be important for your personal safety.
