Super easy to use and durable—fixed my floor gaps in no time!

[Set name: Style1]
Dealing with separating floorboards and shifting planks can be super annoying, but this repair kit made fixing the gaps completely painless. Straight out of the package, the build quality on the double 45° suction cup and the included hammer feels very solid and durable. It doesn't feel flimsy at all, so you don't have to worry about the suction body cracking or bending when you tap it into place.Using it is an absolute breeze. The suction cups clamp down tight and create a rock-solid grip on the flooring, and having the extra sticky pads and felt pads included is a huge plus to help protect the finish and boost suction when needed. A couple of solid taps with the mallet and the floorboards slide right back together without damaging the edges or surface. For the price, this kit is a great value considering you get everything you need: the double suction cup, sticky pads, felt pads, scrapers, brush, gloves, and hammer. It easily gets the job done without having to call in a professional or buy individual tools. Highly recommend!

The only thing that worked for my loose flooring

[Set name: Style1]
Picked up the ZYGC Floor Gap Fixer Flooring Repair Kit for fixing a few annoying gaps in my click-lock plank flooring. First impressions: surprisingly solid carbon steel construction that feels like it can take a beating from a mallet. This gap fixer comes with a whole bundle of useful accessories in the box like gloves, scrapers, a brush, a hammer, extra felt pads, and five sticky pads to help get a tight grip. As for performance, it grips onto smooth floating planks really well and pulls them together when you tap the angled sides. The double 45 degree design lets you strike it comfortably from either angle without slipping off the board. You just need to keep in mind that it works specifically on floating laminate, LVP, or engineered wood, so it won't do anything for glued or nailed down floors.Setup was super easy right out of the package since you pretty much just slap a sticky pad on the suction cup base and place it down on the target plank. The non marking design keeps your floor finish safe while you use the included hammer on the angled block. It makes handling floor repairs completely doable by yourself without hiring a professional. This kit is best for DIY homeowners who need an easy way to slide floating floor planks back together without pulling up baseboards. At around twenty-eight bucks for the full set, it feels like a solid deal considering everything included in the box.Final Verdict: Definitely worth getting if you have loose click-lock flooring planks that need pulling back into place.

Floor Gap Fixer Tool with Double 45° Tapping Sides: Suction Cup Flooring Repair Kit / Excellent ...

[Set name: Style1, Set name: Style1]
I am 'Exceptionally Pleased' with the Results from this Flooring Repair Kit. This COMPLETE KIT includes a lot of Accessories to Aid in the Repair of LVT, Hardwood, other Similar Tiles that have 'GAPS' between the Boards/Sections of Flooring. I installed LVT 'Plank' Flooring on both 1st and 2nd Floors in My Home close to Two Years Ago. A LOT of Planks in Many, Many Rooms. It was suggested by the Flooring Manufacturer that you leave or 'allow' a 1/4" Gap between the Flooring and Baseboards due to Possible [slight] 'Expansion or Contraction' of the Floor over Time. However, there are several sections 'Close' to the Baseboards, Closets, and Kitchen Cabinets that have Very, Very HIGH Traffic Patterns. Over Time, 1/4" to 1/2" Gaps appeared with such Heavy Moving of Some Furniture and Rubber Soled Shoes constantly Moving over these Planks. The One Shown in the Photos is in One of the Highest Traffic Areas in the Kitchen. Directly In Front of the Kitchen Sink and Dishwasher. Constant Foot Traffic over Time enabled the Plank Closest to the 'Kick Panel' under the Cabinet ... to Move and a Large 'GAP' appeared.I am Very thankful for the Quality of the Tools in this Kit. The Mallet is Heavy ... Similar to the One I used While Installing the Flooring [Rubber Striking Surface on One End ... Thank You !]. The Large Suction Cup Clamps onto the Flooring Plank Easily. You MUST Clean the Flooring in the Repair Area First. I used a Screwdriver to Remove 'crumbs' and other Debris along with 'Canned' Air ... that Completely Removed ALL DEBRIS in the Crack [between planks]. Then, I Wiped the Area where the Suction Cup would be placed with Isopropyl Alcohol. This Alcohol Cleans Well and Does NOT leave a Residue. Takes a few minutes to Dry ... then Attach the Suction Cup. Tap Lightly on the 45-degree Angled Suction Cup Upper Surface until the Plank Moves into the Desired Place/Location NEXT TO the Adjoining Plank/Tile/etc. This Entire Process took LESS THAN a Few Minutes [each] for Several Minor Repairs in My Home. Some people may NOT notice wider 'Gaps' in the Floor ... BUT 'I' DO ... Since 'I' Installed the Flooring. I can't express to You how Incredibly PLEASED 'I am' with this Kit. It makes ALL the Difference in an Average Looking Floor Versus a Top Professional Looking Job.I only used the Suction Cup and Mallet for My Repairs. There are Several other Accessories Included ... If needed. They Include: 5-large Sticky pads; 4-Spare Felt pads; 2 Grout scrapers; a Brush; Film scraper; and a Pair of White Gloves. This is a COMPLETE Kit that Includes All Necessary Tools/Accessories for Repairing your Flooring. If I could RATE THIS KIT Higher than a Solid '5++++++ STARS' ... I Would. Great VALUE also ! Awesome Tools ! ! !

Very Nice And Complete Kit!

[Set name: Style1]
This flooring repair tool is a useful aid for closing gaps between flooring boards without having to rely entirely on a hammer or pry bar. The dual suction-cup design provides a good grip on smooth flooring surfaces, although results depend on the floor material and how well the cups adhere. The Good Stuff:Double suction cups provide a secure grip on smooth flooring45° design makes it easier to apply pulling force in the direction needed to close a gapHelps make flooring adjustments with less risk of directly striking the finished surfaceMetal construction feels sturdy enough for occasional DIY flooring workRelatively simple to operate once positioned correctlyTakes a beating - I had to put some force into a couple of the floor boards and the suction cup took it well.Very light weight and easy to use.Considerations:Suction cups don't work equally well on every flooring surface - IE: not usable on a textured floorIt may take some trial and error to position the tool correctlyParticularly stubborn gaps may require additional tools or forceWhat I found:I used the tool to pull flooring boards together where a small gap had developed. After cleaning the surface and positioning both suction cups, I was able to get a good grip and apply controlled pressure to move the board. The 45° angle made it easier to direct the force without having to put my hands directly against the flooring. It worked best when the surface was clean, smooth, and relatively flat. I found that repositioning the tool was sometimes necessary to get the best leverage. The included mallet worked well, but in some cases I did need to use a heavier hammer. I had some floor boards that were particularly stubborn and needed that extra bit of weight before they would move.Final verdict:A handy tool to have for DIY flooring repairs, particularly for smooth laminate, vinyl, or similar surfaces where the suction cups can get a good seal. It won't eliminate every flooring gap on its own, but it can make smaller repairs considerably easier and more controlled. With everything that comes in the package, the price point is very, very good. It's a very complete kit.

Solid Flooring Gap Fixer With Better Control Than Basic Suction Cups

[Set name: Style1]
Used this Floor Gap Fixer Tool to close several small gaps in click lock laminate flooring where the planks had slowly shifted apart near a doorway. The double 45° suction cup design made it easier to get a firm grip on the plank without having to remove trim or pull up surrounding boards. After cleaning the floor surface, both suction cups locked down securely. A few controlled strikes with a rubber mallet moved the plank back toward the adjoining board and closed roughly a 1/8 inch gap without damaging the finish. The angled handle also kept the mallet farther away from the floor, which helped avoid accidental contact with the plank surface.Similar single suction cup flooring tools can work, but they tend to twist slightly when struck from the side, especially on wider planks. This double cup setup felt more stable and transferred the impact more evenly. It also offered better control than using adhesive blocks or trying to push the plank with a pry bar near the wall. The suction works best on smooth laminate, vinyl plank, or other flat flooring. On textured surfaces, the cups need more pressure before locking and may need to be repositioned during the job. For occasional flooring repairs, the kit provides good value because it can fix shifted planks without buying specialty pull bars or taking apart several rows of flooring.**Pros:*** Double suction cups provide a stable grip* 45° handle gives good clearance for mallet strikes* Closed an approximately 1/8 inch laminate gap with only a few controlled hits* Less twisting than typical single cup gap fixer tools* Helps avoid removing baseboards or pulling up surrounding planks* Reusable without adhesive pads**Cons:*** Suction is weaker on heavily textured flooring* Floor needs to be clean before attaching the cups* Very tight or heavily locked planks may still require a flooring pull bar

Great, but no instructions included.

[Set name: Style1]
This is an excellent tool kit. It would be worth it just for the fabulous mallet. However, there is a huge problem here - NO INSTRUCTIONS! That means, if you're like me and aren't the person who installed the floor and has no clue what the process is, you're kind of in the woods on what the heck to do. Thank goodness for online video tutorials.I can recommend this because it's comprehensive, but be aware that you're on your own once you get it.

A Complete Kit That Made Fixing Our Vinyl Floor Much Easier

[Set name: Style1]
We picked this up because a few sections of our floating vinyl plank flooring had started to separate over time, leaving noticeable gaps. Instead of living with them or trying temporary fixes, we decided to give this floor gap repair kit a try. I'm glad we did because it worked exactly as we hoped. The suction cup has a strong grip once it's locked down onto the flooring. I was a little skeptical at first, but after cleaning the surface and attaching it, it stayed firmly in place while we worked the boards back together. Having a solid handle to pull from made a huge difference compared to trying to move the planks by hand. The included rubber mallet paired nicely with the suction cup. After applying steady pressure and giving it a few controlled taps, the floor planks slid back into position and the gaps disappeared. It took a little patience to get everything lined up, but once we figured out the technique, it worked surprisingly well.I also appreciated that this wasn't just a single tool thrown in a box. It comes with several useful accessories, including gloves, scrapers, felt pads, adhesive pads, and a cleaning brush. We didn't end up using every accessory during our repair, but it's nice having them available for future flooring projects. The gloves were comfortable, and the felt pads help reduce the chance of scratching the floor while working. The overall construction feels solid. The suction cup body is sturdy, the handle locks securely, and the rubber mallet has enough weight to do the job without feeling overly heavy. Nothing felt flimsy or like it would break after one use.One thing I would recommend is taking your time with positioning the suction cup. Make sure the floor is clean so you get the best seal, and don't try to move the planks all at once. Several smaller adjustments worked much better for us than trying one large pull. Our repair has held up well since using this kit, and the floor still looks great. It handled the job without any issues and gave us confidence to tackle the repair ourselves instead of living with the gaps.Overall, we're very happy with it. It did exactly what we needed it to do, the included accessories were useful, and everything felt well made and easy to use. If you have floating vinyl plank or laminate flooring that has developed small gaps, this kit is a great tool to have on hand. I'd definitely recommend it based on our experience.

Does the Job!Does the Job!

[Set name: Style1, Set name: Style1]
This Flooring repair Kit is amazing, and probably has everything you will need to fix gaps in your laminate or vinyl LVP/SPC flooring.I may be an accounting geek at heart, but I have some pretty serious experience with laminate and vinyl flooring, having done major and often complete flooring replacements in six houses. These floors can shift, for many reasons. Once in a while, an end edge of a flooring piece will be broken, defective, or simply not locked into place correctly and a gap in the flooring appears months or even years after installation. This has happened twice in the same place on my daughter's floor - the first time we tried a hammer and a basic double-suction cup repair tool, but the tool would not stay attached due to a slightly elevated grain in the flooring breaking the suction. We wound up having to pull trim off the baseboard and pull the flooring back into place with a hammer and floor puller. But the fix didn't last long in this high traffic area and the board separated again. Right before I began to pull off the baseboard trim for the second time I spotted this repair kit on Amazon, and thought, "let's give that a try." What a blessing! The difference with this kit is the sticky pads. They are about five inches square, and have peel-off plastic sheets on both sides to reveal the super sticky adhesive. Once the adhesive is exposed on both sides, one side clings to the floor board to be moved, and the other grips onto the suction cup. And I mean GRIPS. Once the suction cup is attached and the suction lever engaged, you hit the 45' angled protective felt on the top of the tool with the included hammer and drive the board back into place. When the board is back in place, you release the suction cup lever and peel the cup off the plastic, then peel the sticky plastic pad off the floor board, and you're done. BTW - I put the two clear plastic cover sheets back on the sticky pad, because I used one twice and it was still completely sticky. There are six pads included in the kit, but you can reuse them multiple times if you replace the cover sheets.Besides the suction tool, hammer, and sticky pads, this kit also includes replacement felt pads to protect the suction tool, grout scrapers, a film scraper (I guess for helping to remove the plastic sticky pads, if necessary), a funny little brush (possibly for cleaning out the board edges prior to repair) and a pair of gloves. One very, very minor disappointment in this kit was the gloves. They are not like the ones shown in the description, but are thin white ones that are also too small for most men's hands. But who cares about gloves you probably don't need - you DO need this tool kit if you have flooring gaps to fix. If the gap appears again in my daughter's floor, I will add a little construction glue to the gap before using this tool again to easily move the board back into place. I am so glad I found this tool kit!
