This cover is perfect for our need. Our water softener is located outside and the cover is made of a 1200D durable material that appears easy to keep clean. It also has a plastic zipper for the hood top so it won't rust. Not only does it have a velcro strap down the entire back but also two adjustable straps across the back that are adjustable to securely tighten the cover. It also has a strap in front at the bottom to tighten the cover there. No elements or critters will get inside this cover.
