Well designed cylindrical "up and down" wall sconce. Minimalist but the black aluminum would be the perfect accent to industrial/modern farmhouse or traditional decor. The up and down design creates a glowing "wall wash" effect dispersing light from top and bottom. It provides the option to switch between 5 color temperatures ranging from warm white to cool white via the external side switch. It also allows a wide range dimming effect from 5% to 100% with no annoying flicker and is compatible with most dimmers. In contrast to most low wattage wall sconces this high lumen fixture provides high brightness for all day/night illumination. Stylish and high end choice for accent lighting for mantels, bed sides, hallways and stairways. At first glance, this is about as simple as a wall sconce can get. It's sturdy, solid white, and the cylindrical design is basically the lighting equivalent of a plain white tee. There isn't much to get excited about when it's sitting there uninstalled.The part that makes it interesting is what happens when it's actually lit. The up-and-down lighting creates the visual effect, while the fixture itself stays very clean and understated. I think this is going to look much better installed on a wall than it ever could sitting in the box or being judged by itself.I also like that the simple white design isn't competing with everything else in the room. It's modern, versatile, and lets the light pattern be the decorative part rather than the fixture trying too hard to make a statement.Simple fixture, sturdy construction, and a much more interesting effect once illuminated. I'm looking forward to seeing what it does in its permanent spot.

We have old and dated looking hardwired sconces above our fireplace we’ve been dying to replace. We thought these up/down sconces were simple, modern, and nice looking on the advertisement. We thought up/down lighting would create a nice feature where there are lots of squares.It came packaged well and protected. Unfortunately, we did notice a chip on the bottom of the light after we opened it. Hard to understand how it would have gotten there unless it was packaged that way. Not a huge deal, but something to note.The install wasn’t too difficult. Most of the work came in putting the wire back into the wall. But for two people that don’t do much wiring, it wasn’t too hard. Once we got the light to turn on, we immediately realized these are far too intense for our liking. Even on the warmest setting, the light projected far onto the wall and ceiling. Perhaps a dimmer would make it better, but even still it didn’t look pleasing. Our ceiling is angled, so it had an appearance of a light bubble. I would suggest a better space for this light would be higher ceilings and no angles.I didn’t mind the look of the light when it was off, simple and modern. The light is sturdy and seemed to be made of quality materials. Unfortunately, the light was too intense for us and just didn’t fit our space.

The light cones/spread are narrower and more defined than I was hoping for, creating a sharp spotlight effect rather than a softer, more diffuse wall wash.Takeaway:If you like dramatic, focused architectural beam lines on your walls, this fixture is well-made, looks great, and offers great color flexibility. If you prefer wide, softly diffused ambient room lighting, the sharp beam pattern might not match what you're looking for.

This is a really nice, high-quality LED wall light. I originally thought of it as a downlight, but one of the coolest things about it is that it actually shines both up and down, which creates a really nice effect on the wall.I also really like having the adjustable color temperature. You can select anywhere from a warm 2700K up to a much cooler 5000K, so you're not stuck with one particular shade of white. That makes it much easier to match the lighting that's already in the room or choose the look you prefer.The aluminum housing feels solid and well made, the light output is plenty bright, and the simple black cylinder design looks clean and modern. My only real complaint is that I wish they sold them as a two-pack because this style of light looks especially good installed as a pair. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

Been looking for modern touches to the house in a satin black finish and this wall sconce just hit all the right features you need. The pros- dual beams up and down was a huge win, theres a bunch that only have a single beam pattern that points down, secondly the color and the finish match all the other black hardware I have around the house so big pro. the super customizable color temp selection was perfect to match the other lights and moods for the house. Installaiton was simple its just like any other light fixture took about 15 20 mins to get it done, the value was great for the quality and features, ive seen others at lower prices but they either dont have led or need bulds or have cheaper materials so this one was worth the cost.
