Works perfectly out at the pool. Weather proof
The packaging was a box. When I opened it there were no issues cords were wrapped correctly. I attached the stake and set it up for Christmas Lighting. There are 6 sealed outlets 3 on the front 3 on the back. It has a sealed on/off switch. It does not have a timer. I wanted this feature because my previous outdoor outlet timer quit working. I heard that most issues with outdoor outlets are the timers. This has gone through through several down pours with no issues. I chose this over other outdoor outlets because it has a surge protector.
Shuts off very quickly when the outdoor temp is over 95.
Longer power cord was perfect. I used for outside lights. Dusk to dawn.

This is a great outdoor rated strip, the waterproof system works great, when I plug in the power cord for my outdoor projection setup it's completely sealed and I have had no issues with water penetrating the connectors.The stake that comes with it made of light metal, feels robust and not cheap (plastic) like others I have tried, which makes it easier when positions the strip on the grass or dirt area.It can be used in several setups, the cord length is very generous and enough for most of the installations.This strip is 100% recommended!
This is a great device that has definitely improved our Christmas game. With 6 plugs, and a solid stake, this is great for running lights out into the front yard. The stake had a nice barb which allows the stake to drive cleanly, even into frozen ground. Removal was similarly easy to relocate it to a new location. Overall the cord length is exactly as described, though I did find myself wanting more cord. It's pretty simple to add another extension cord to the front end to help add length.
The outlet seems to be constructed of sturdy materials with rubber over-molding. Cords plug into the jacks snuggly and feel solidly connected. Silicone gaskets seal around each contact on the cord. The cord is fairly pliable right out of the box. The outlet portion has a loop for wall mounting and a metal stake for mounting in the ground. Overall, it is a solid outdoor power strip for the price.
