These are not your grandaddy's gloves, as high-tech materials are being used to make these lightweight and I opine, offering some of the highest protections available, as corroborated by the ANSI Pentagon A9 standard and the European Shield 3X44F standard [these appear to lack the formal standard surrounding impact resistance, but I understood when selecting these that the marketing was primarily cut resistance. The reader is encouraged to do their own research on these standards, however, the gloves, so far, in use, corroborated the protections found with these standards, i.e., I found them to offer heavy protection surrounding cuts and better abrasion resistance, along with tear and puncture resistance. I especially appreciate the extra reinforcement in the thumb crotch, again, of high-tech materials. These would make a thoughtful gift, however, they lacked a professional retail presentation, so, the gift giver would have to note the features and benefits if the recipient did not understand the formalized protection certifications these gloves display. They also do not have any hangtags, which would further corroborate, at least for gift giving, these are new, rather than a hand-me-down. With all the certified standards these possess, and when considering cost, these do offer near exceptional value. What really sets these apart is that the sandy grip offers excellent non-slip action and incredibly, excellent smart phone screen touch action. Are these perfect? Hmm, my biggest criticism is that I think these better fit a narrow hand with longer fingers, rather than a stockier hand that is more wide than not and the wrist is a tad tight and the ribbed cuffs tend to roll a bit more than I care for. So, based on the totality, I opine these are a "weak" five (5) star, the weakness being they were tight on my hand, however, the other features make these a solid option from a famous brand, such as Wells Lamont. Notice, I am using these for home not industrial use and my opinion is from that use. [No care instruction tag was sewn in, nor any reference to the country of origin, which I do not care for.] I like the highly visible color too.

Great Quality GloveGreat Quality Glove

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1, Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
Wells Lamont has always made a quality glove, the Y9252 VIS-TECH Cut Resistant Sandy Nitril palm coated gloves are level 4 for puncture and abrasion and an A9 cut resistance level the highest ANSI/ISEA 105-2024 cut level protection. The gloves are machine washable and are compatible with my iPhone. Not as great as my bare finger, but they really do work well on my phone which is very convenient. I use nitril coated gloves for around the house in the yard and when working on wood projects. I ordered a large and it fits great, the glove has a reinforced thumb crotch and the sandy Nitril grips in wet and oily conditions. At the current price of $16.99 these gloves are a good value that offer great protection and wear.

Fantastic gloves for working with sharp objectsFantastic gloves for working with sharp objects

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1, Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
I wear cut-resistant gloves for hours at a time, so fit and feel matter as much as the protection, and these nailed it. Straight out of the packet they felt a touch snug, but after wearing them a while they relaxed and molded to my hand, with each finger reaching right to the tip and no floppy extra material bunching at the knuckles. That fit is what makes them usable for detail work instead of the clumsy tanks a lot of cut gloves turn out to be. The coated palm grips well without being sticky, so I can hold onto slick parts and still set them down smoothly. The high-visibility color is a nice bonus when they are buried on a cluttered bench. They are thin enough that I sometimes forget I have serious cut protection on, which is exactly what I want. For anyone who needs real cut resistance but hates bulky gloves, these are an easy recommendation and feel well made for the money.

Love these gloves

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
I feel much safer using these cut-resistant gloves for handling sharper materials and tools around my workspace. The high visibility design is a nice touch, but the real standout feature for me is the sandy nitrile coating on the palms. It provides a phenomenal, slip-resistant grip even when handling smooth or slightly slick surfaces, without sacrificing my hand movement. The fit is comfortable and accurate to my size, allowing for enough dexterity to manage detailed tasks without feeling like my hands are restricted. They are holding up beautifully so far and have quickly become a staple in my work gear.

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1, Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
The Vis-Tech work gloves by WELLS LAMONT INDUSTRIAL are a vibrant lime green color that is easily visible. The gloves feature a reinforced thumb crotch and the palms are covered in a sandy nitrile coating. The gloves feature an ANSI A9 cut resistance level which is currently the highest cut resistance available.First off, this is definitely the most comfortable ANSI A9 rated glove I have ever used. The gloves fit my hands perfectly and I was able to easily pick up small nuts and bolts. Touch screen compatibility was perfect and I had no issues using my phone. While wearing the gloves, my fingers and thumbs were able to move freely without any tightness or binding. The gloves feel soft on the inside and the sandy nitrile palm coating is very grippy, even in the presence of moisture or oil. To test the ANSI A9 rating, I ran a new utility knife blade across the nitrile palm several times. The sandy nitrile coating remained intact and the skin of my hands were free from cuts and scratches. Overall, these gloves are excellent and I am truly impressed with the comfort of these ANSI A9 rated gloves. I will definitely order more in the future.

Nice gloves but check size

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
These gloves seem to be well made and feel like they'll hold up to regular use. The nitrile coating provides a good grip, and the overall construction gives the impression of a quality work glove. My only real complaint is the sizing. I normally wear a size large in work gloves, but these fit tighter than I expected. They're still usable, but if you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit, you may want to consider ordering one size up.Other than the sizing, I don't have any complaints. They appear to be durable, offer good dexterity, and seem like a solid choice for general shop work, yard work, or other tasks where cut resistance is helpful.

Excellent fit, great balance between grip and slideExcellent fit, great balance between grip and ...

[Size: Large, Number of Items: 1, Size: Large, Number of Items: 1]
I have been a fan of Wells Lamont, leather work gloves for decades. They hold up pretty well and end up becoming a mold of my hand, supporting excellent grip while providing superior protection. With that context, I have some serious expectations of these industrial work gloves.Immediately, I can say that they fit me just as well as expected. Each of my fingers is enclosed to the tip without extra glove material, and they also fit very well at the joints of each finger to the hand. These felt a little snug when I first pulled them on, but as expected, they stretched a little bit to match my hand. And it’s not even that they felt snug, just pulling on, but when making a fist or gripping something tightly. I usually wear a large size in gloves and these fit me perfectly. The nitrile grip is textured and has just the right balance of grip and slide. I’m even able to snap my fingers with some effort. Most of this is covered in the video that I uploaded. The only challenge I have with these is a similar challenge with most fabric based gloves. The cuffs tend to want to roll inside on me when I pull them on. The first one I can fix because I have a bare hand. The second one is a bit challenging, but once the cuff is fixed, it stays in place. By the way, the cuff is the right length to provide protection to my wrist, but also to allow me to wear a wristwatch.I’m gonna be putting these gloves to the test for the rest of the summer, but so far they seem pretty great after a few projects. And they shouldn’t be too difficult to find when I just set them down somewhere in my dim garage.
