This 2 piece 1-1/8" hex shank concrete breaker chisel set is nice quality, well made, and made of real steel. My husband said that it works great, is wear and impact resistant. Overall, he's happy with this product and feels like it's worth the money based on the quality and quantity.

40 CR alloy steel. It’s a common medium-carbon chromium structural steel which has a good high tensile strength. It’s tough and wear-resistant, so this is what you want when you’re battling concrete in the construction jungle. Luckily you’re not going to be welding with these, because they’re not very weldable. But that’s not why you bought it—not to weld with it, but to break up something really hard like concrete. And this will do the job.Be very sure that it’ll work for your particular jackhammer, as some reviewers have said that it’s not the actual shank size, so-to-speak. Of course it’s not going to fit if it’s not a standard or manufacturer-specific chisel set.We will be breaking up concrete, unfortunately, on a foundation to find a leak in the plumbing. It’s a shame that they bury this in the foundations, and there should always be a crawl space for the plumbing, but this is what they did in the 1950s at least.So this set covers the most basic needs for concrete. The pointed tip concentrates force and it’s good for starting cracks and penetrating the concrete or asphalt or really a wall, whereas the flat chisel gives you better control for chipping things out, removing tile, and things like that.Like I said, these things are not 100% universal because of the minor variations and all that, especially when they’re aftermarket. You have to admit these are rather inexpensive—at about $15.00 each they probably won’t hold up if you’re doing heavy professional use. This is nothing fancy, but it’s functional.Harbor Freight has the Hercules, and lesser ones will work on which will take the 1-1/8 hex breaker hammers. Some Bosch Brute will work, and certain Makita and some of the Milwaukee’s will work on this. This is recommended probably for 60 to 90 pound class pneumatic pavement breakers.

There is not really much to say about breaker chisels. These are heavy duty and seem to be made with a high quality steel. The price is less than you would pay to rent these and these you get to keep. The set I got has the chisel point and flat bit which makes this a versatile combination that will work for multiple applications. They do not come with a carrying case. The listing dimensions are accurate and these should work in most breakers. I feel these are a good addition to my tool set.

These point and flat chisels are useful for breaking concrete, masonry, tile, and other hard material with a compatible demolition hammer. The alloy steel feels substantial, the shanks are cleanly machined, and the two profiles cover both concentrated breaking and broader material removal. They handle impact well during ordinary use and offer good value as a basic replacement or backup set. Proper eye and hearing protection are essential, but the tools themselves feel ready for serious work.

These are well made, very substantial 17" chisel bits. The steel is high quality heat-treated 40Cr chromium-alloy. (A Chinese standard for steel of moderate expense that is tough, hard, wear resistant and has adequate impact resistance for medium-speed, medium-load applications.)These are designed like industrial equipment. There is nothing fancy or elegant about them. The facets are very plain, meant for smashing repeatedly into concrete, not as fine edges for slicing tomatoes.Beware that there are many interfaces for the chisel bits of electric jackhammers, not to mention air hammers. Be sure that the dimensions are nomenclature match your machine.

I am very please with this chisel set. It is very high quality and I am pleased with how it stands up to hard work. I expect to get a lot of good use from these chisels.
