Hey, I just wanted to share how much I like this Double Drum Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light. It’s a really nice lamp! I put it over my poker table, and honestly, it looks fantastic there. The gold finish and Xuan paper shade just blend perfectly with my art deco and mid-century modern aesthetic. It really completes the look I was going for!

This ceiling shade has a clean, modern look and the paper shade gives it a softer feel than a typical light fixture. The gold finish is nice, and it looks good.The only thing that caught me off guard was the size. It's much smaller than I expected from the photos, so I'd definitely pay close attention to the measurements before ordering. It worked for my space, but it may look too small in a larger room.Other than that, it seems well made and was fairly straightforward to install.

It feels well made, and I love that it's simple enough to fit with a variety of decorating styles without looking boring.My only concern is that the fabric shade may collect dust over time, but I'm planning to give it a quick pass with the vacuum every month or so to keep it looking fresh. I ordered this double-drum, semi-flush ceiling light fixture to match a larger 16" one that I already have from the same seller. I love how the subtle gold color of the ceiling canopy blends nicely with the natural textured Xuan paper element of the shade.This fixture arrives mostly pre-assembled. You'll just need to thread the wires through and screw the short downrod to the fixture and to the ceiling canopy. From here you're on your own to attach the mounting plate to the ceiling and connect the fixture to the house wiring because the included "instructions" must assume you know how to do that. The connecting wires do come pre-stripped, so that's a bonus.I feel like the fit between the ceiling mounting plate and the gold ceiling canopy could be a little more snug. The two screws that connect the two are short and it's difficult to line up the holes. The screw are also silver which messes up the aesthetic.This light fixture is very strong for how lightweight it is. It would take a lot to deform its metal frame. The paper shade is protected from behind with a thin liner of (acrylic?). There is also a diffuser disk of similar material that fits up inside the finished shade to hide the lightbulbs and finish the look.I appreciate that it uses standard E26 bulbs which are cheap, easy to replace, and come in different styles. I'd stick with LED bulbs because the bulbs sit pretty close to the shade and you won't want excessive heat right there.
