This is a really nice light I ended up replacing the nasty old porch light that was falling off the place we rent. It was really easy to install I have it set to 5,000k settings. I think it fits nicely, makes the house a bit more modern.I like the design and how it shines on the ledge if the house. Overall it’s a nice little upgrade and I think it would be nice inside or outside. The case is easy to remove and clean if you need too.

I ordered this light for the back door of our 1930s bungalow renovation. We chose a more decorative fixture for the front porch, but I wanted something simpler for the back door that would safely light the steps.The fixture has a sturdy aluminum body with a nice finish, and I ordered the white version to match the trim and the front porch light. Everything needed for installation was included, and it arrived very well packaged with no damage.Although the fixture itself is fairly simple, the butterfly light pattern has a subtle Art Deco feel that fits well with the vintage look I'm going for. It adds just enough visual interest without overpowering the space.The only thing is the price. At around $45 for a single fixture, it seems a little expensive, but the quality seems good, and I'm happy with it.

This is actually a very simple light fixture. Are the LED light is the small square space and it fits for the back of the metal piece which is pretty much just decoration and to direct the light up and down. The metal portion is a decent quality powder coated finish.If you look at the last photo, you will see the problem that this solves for me. Previous owner of this home installed a nice glass storm door, but probably didn’t think about the light fixture when they did it so you can’t actually open the door quite all the way. Normally this doesn’t make any difference unless you want to move something large in and out of the house. I’ve tried removing the storm storm door and can’t so recent furniture. Purchase became an exercise and frustration for the wonderful Costco delivery guys. (that they did eventually manage.)The only bummer is that there is no motion detection feature nor dawn to dusk feature. Normally, I like my lights on every evening so now I just have to remember to flip the switch.Other products in this price range usually have those features so it’s not a big enough deal for me to even deduct one star just a little disappointing (or I’m secretly hoping I missed that somewhere)

I set mine to 3000K for a warm, welcoming glow at the entry; the 4000K and 5000K options are there if you want something crisper for a garage or side path. It's bright at 1200 lumens and covers a good stretch of wall. It dims smoothly on a compatible LED dimmer with no flicker or buzzing at low levels.Worth knowing it's hardwired, so factor in an electrician if you don't already have a junction box where you want it. The 10.2-inch profile is slim enough that it doesn't crowd a narrow wall, and it's held up fine through rain so far.

I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this light. I'm actually blown away by it. I was not expecting this superior quality for under $45. Wow, what a great Amazon find. 👏😍The metal box itself is nice and thick, and it's been powder-coated so well that not a bit of any other color is showing. It's solid white everywhere. It looks amazing.The light itself is in a separate box with two very fancy LEDs that face up and down, and the box slides into the main metal box very nicely. (See my photos.) Inside the light is a toggle switch so you can change the color, which is really cool. I love that it's inside to keep the appearance sleek on the outside and to keep it watertight.Using an Allen wrench, you open and close the light box to access the wires inside and attach them to your house wires. There's also a bracket included to attach to your junction box. The wires go through a silicone hole in the back of the light box, which I've never seen before, but it looks smart for keeping things waterproof for outdoors.I tested this with a dummy plug that goes to an outlet, and I was so impressed with the way the butterfly pattern shines on the wall. It really works, and it's so cool because the light does not look like a butterfly just against the wall when it's not on. It looks like an inconspicuous light, but when you turn it on, it is unmistakably a butterfly.I love light fixtures that play with the light itself. It's like an art piece, a hidden art piece. It's a very high-quality fixture. I'm very impressed with it, and I will happily buy more of these. They would work well in multiples and they're an excellent value for the price.
