Works Great!

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
I had an older hot water tank that needed the PLV replaced. I ordered this valve, installed it, and fixed my issue. I recommend.

Simple replacement relief valveSimple replacement relief valve

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection, Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
I ordered this as a replacement water heater temperature and pressure relief valve for a marine heater that had a slow leak that was causing the water pump to cycle at random points. The all-brass construction feels solid and well made, and the valve has a substantial feel compared with some lighter-duty replacements. The 3/4" NPT connection was straightforward to work with, and the lever operates smoothly. The stainless steel spring and brass body also give me confidence that it should hold up well in a hot-water environment. Overall, this appears to be a well-built replacement valve with good materials and a straightforward design. Just make sure the connection size and pressure/temperature ratings match your water heater before ordering. Replacement is simple and had no leakage once complete.

Perfect fit and works

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
First a warning - look and see if you need an extended length or the smaller length. This is the smaller length so if you need extended, this will fail. So check before buying. It came fast, in one of those Amazon bags. The valve itself was inside a light cardboard box, but it would be hard to damage this thing while it is inside its manufacturer box.The valve is heavy, showing it is of higher quality.. The valve moves smoothly. There are no scratches, etc on the metal at all. The installation is easy, just make sure to drain the water heater to below the valve. That means the outside of the valve, not the inside. :) If you do not, you will get to mop your floor as part of the replacement process. :) The valve does not leak at all.If you need a replacement pressure relief valve, get this one. It is a good value for the money.

Very Good Quality T&P Valve at a Fair Price

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
I ordered this T&P valve to replace the OEM T&P valve on my propane fired hot water heater...which is 18 years old...but still going strong. I drain & flush my hot water heater at least twice each year because doing that WILL DEFINITELY prolong the life of any hot water heater...by at least 5 years...or sometimes longer than that. There was nothing wrong with the OEM T&P valve I had. Instead, I replaced it solely because of its age. This replacement valve is very good quality (equal to the OEM valve) and it installed easily in less than 5 minutes. [CAUTION: Don't forget to put some teflon tape or pipe dope on the T&P valve threads that screw into the water heater before you install it!] I suspect that this T&P valve will perform properly if the need for it to do its job ever arises. I keep my hot water heater set at 125 degrees, which is plenty hot enough for every use I have. My 125 degree heat setting is well below the activation point of most T&P valves (this one included)...so the odds of it ever having to function (for an overheating situation) are pretty slim. I recommend this product.

Make sure you dont have a long stemmed valve on your water heater.Make sure you dont have a long ...

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection, Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
This is the pressure relief valve for a water heater tank. Mine was starting to leak, and so I was looking for a replacement. Make sure you take your old one out first and look at the neck length on the stem. Based on the brands that the product listing description said it would fit with, I ordered it. It is slightly smaller in size than my old unit but the threads were the right size on the part of my valve I could see sticking out of the tank. Unfortunately for me, when I unscrewed the old valve and took it out, my old valve's stem is about an inch longer than this new part, and so it won't work for my water tank. This item seems well made, and I did actuate the valve and could see the spring assembly and rubber valve seal move in and out. So if your water heater uses a shorter stemmed valve, this is the one for you. Unfortunately for me its back to the drawing board. I gave a 5 star rating because they didn't do anything wrong. They seem to have made a great part, it just isn't the one I needed and that's my fault not theirs.

Seems like a solid valve. Very similar in appearance to the Watts valve I replaced. Only time will tell about how it holds up, but it seems sturdy, not cheaply made.

Good Fit for Tight RV Water Heater Clearances—Replaced My Watts Valve!

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
If you own an RV with an Atwood 6-gallon water heater, you know how tight the clearance is inside that exterior access panel. When my OEM Watts temperature and pressure relief valve started leaking after five years, I quickly found out that most standard, bulky replacement valves you find at local home improvement stores simply will not fit. There isn't enough room to thread them in without hitting the surrounding casing. That is where this 3/4" NPT all-brass valve is better than others. Why it works perfectly for RV applications:Low-Profile Design: This valve mirrors the form factor of the original Watts valve. Thanks to its compact design, it threads smoothly into the tight clearance of the Atwood tank where other bulkier valves fail to spin or clear the frame.High-Quality Construction: The all-brass body seems durable. The probe features a robust stainless steel pressure spring and the lift lever operates cleanly without any sticking.Zero Leaks: It threaded in smoothly with a bit of Teflon tape, sealed tightly, and immediately cured the annoying dripping/weeping issue my old valve had.It handles the pressure and temperature demands of an RV water heater perfectly while maintaining a hassle-free, exact-fit installation. If you are struggling to find a replacement valve that actually fits your motorhome's water heater compartment, don't waste time on bulkier options—this one is similar in performance and fit to the OEM Watts valve. Highly recommended!

An excellent replacement for my hot water heater

[Size: 3/4" NPT Connection]
I grabbed this TPR valve to replace a leaking one in my point-of-use garage water heater. It's been leaking for a while, so when this item appeared in my Amazon Vine picks, I figured this would be an excellent opportunity to replace it.The original TPR valve has a slightly shorter probe than this one, but the temperature and pressure values (210°F / 150 PSI) are the same and the thread size is the same, so I knew it would work fine. And indeed it does. The quality of the materials is excellent, with a brass body and stainless steel spring. I am a big fan of both materials and look for them any time I am buying metal plumbing fittings (I avoid galvanized steel due to its tendency to corrode and narrow over time). This is a good TPR valve at a fair price.
