I installed the Yagman White Porcelain Door Knob on my bathroom door, and it instantly upgraded the space. The white porcelain knob is smooth and cool to the touch, while the brass base has a brushed, antique look that feels more polished than typical hardware. The contrast between the creamy white and the warm metal creates a subtle, elegant vibe.Installation was straightforward, and the knob turns smoothly without any wobble. The privacy function works well, and the latch retracts cleanly when I turn the handle. The finish hasn’t shown any smudges or scratches so far, even with daily use.The overall look and feel are top-notch, and the knob has become a standout detail in the room.

I am continuing with my project to replace the dull and outdated chrome fixtures and hardware throughout my home. This unique doorknob with an antique brass base and bright white porcelain bulb was perfect for my guest bathroom. The white bulb that connects to the brass base, cover and latch makes for a striking contrast that has a trendy retro vibe. This lock and look make this doorknob a great choice for necessary privacy in a bathroom. The white knobs bear a striking resemblance to the white globe lights that are over the vanity in this half bath. It will pair well with larger flood lights as well commonly used in a full bath. The color also matches the porcelain sink and toilet bowl. The finish is smooth and thick which serves as a protective layer to scratches and discoloration. The ceramic and zinc alloy materials are solid and sturdy. If you are replacing an existing doorknob, then the installation is very simple. Use the color coordinating screws to secure the cover, plate and latch and then, do the same for the knob and connection spindle piece. I did not have to use a drill, only a screwdriver. This item has a locking device. It is conveniently located at the top center of the interior knob and is locked with a push of the button. It automatically unlocks with a turn of the knob to the left or the right. No worries about accidental locking of the door when it is opened and shut. This has happened a few times in our home before. In the event of an emergency, the door can be quickly and easily opened from the outside. There is a small circular insert at the top center of the exterior side of the door. To open the locked door, just press a straight hard instrument into the insert and push. The latch unlocks right away. This product comes in a few different additional colors including black, blue and red. While I have only seen the images of these variations in color, I do not care for any of them. They do not look as elegant and refined as the polished white knob and are rather loud. I think that the other 3 colors would be more appropriate for use on a door to child's room, a play room and/or a game room that that is decorated in one of the other bright colors. The cost of this white ceramic privacy doorknob with a brass finish falls in the higher range of like products. I believe, however, that it is appropriately priced in light of the special and unique look of the vintage porcelain bulb like knob. and the quality of the item as well.

I really like this doorknob. Made of porcelain, high quality, and comes in multiple colors. I installed it on one of the bedroom doors, and while the installation was easy, it is loose on our doors. For modern door installation, it will be a good fit. Measure the width of your door and make sure it is thick enough for a proper installation. The locking mechanism is stylish but somewhat difficult to open with the provided key. The price is good for a knob of this quality.

I am truly impressed with this knob. The cost actually reflets the quality. This knob is made in China but has true American quality. It is heavy, and heavy usually means it is well built. These are not cheap everyday knobs.I am rehabbing an 1880’s house and want to match the original quality hardware. These knobs will do that. The black polished knob is impressive and again, the overall quality is worth every penny. If you want an $8.00 knob, buy an $8.00 knob. If you want a true retro looking quality knob buy this one

My wife has a vintage look in the house, and this door knob definitely looks vintage but keeps the modern functionality. It's very easy to install, just two screws hold it on, and two screws hold on the mechanism. No adjustments needed, just need to make sure that your door is routed for the correct size striker plate. I had to use a small chisel square mine up because it was routed for a rounded plate. Easy to do. Took about 5 minutes or less to change. My only complaint is that it's kind of difficult to find the PIN to push if you need to bypass the privacy setting. I have small kids and they like to lock things so I can see myself needing to do that and it's not very easy or quick to bypass.

This review is for the Yagman brand of decorative door knob (black option). The door knob is appropriate for interior rooms like bedrooms as it does not lock but does have a privacy latch. Installation was a moderate biatch as door knobs are always that way getting the interior screws and screw holes to line up and thread. That said this knob wasn’t as bad as some others AFA getting a philips screw driver past the knob to the screws under it without too much of an angle to prevent turning the screw. The only thing Id change is to make the knobs fuller/rounder to fill my hand for easier turning in a really tight doorway which is where this was installed. But it does work as is so I may as well give it my highest recommendation.

Item Reviewed: White Porcelain Privacy Door Knob with Antique Brass Finish Base, Keyless Interior Door Knob for Bathroom and Bedroom, Ceramic Door Knobs Decorative Door Hardware 1 Pack TCWT-YAB-A-1I love everything about this knob except for the privacy lock and the awkward way you have to tighten down the screws when installing due to the knob forcing the screwdriver to be at an angle. This was a replacement on a bathroom door, so it was a very simple process of remove the old lock and replace with the new one. I now have to take the door off, sand it and repaint it as it now looks terrible with the beautiful doorknob. The house is 100 years old and the knob fits the look more than the lever handle that was on the door that had replaced the damaged old mortise door handle which I would have loved to have saved but someone had brutalized it beyond repair. The knob feels quality in your hand and the finish is beautiful. I tested the privacy lock before I snugged everything up and it worked but it felt weird and I had a feeling it wasn't going to be that great. Sure enough after tightening everything down it didn't work at all. I'm sure I could take it apart and mess with it and get it working but because of the way you have to angle the screwdriver in to tighten and loosen the screws, I feel like the screws will be useless if I keep doing that. With the angle when you put that last little turn on to make sure the handle is secure against the door it starts to slip and chew up the cheap screw heads (everyone uses cheap screws these days - it's pretty much a given that the heads will just be destroyed after a few times of being turned). Fortunately, for me, I don't care if the lock works or not, I live alone and don't have to worry about anyone walking in on me.

We have a little summer cottage that was built in the 50's and still retains much of the original architecture, including the solid wood paneled interior doors. The original doorknobs have long been replaced, a few times, with cheap big-box store door knobs. When I saw the listing for this porcelain door know, I thought it might look good on our interior doors and restore a bit of the original look and feel. We're not disappointed. This is a well made door knob with very nice porcelain knobs. It's both modern and old-school at the same time, and really steps up the look of the door. The mechanism operates smoothly and the spring is strong. Not too strong that it's hard to turn, but strong enough that it gives a quality feel to the knobs, something those cheap big box store knobs just don't do.I think the price is very reasonable given the quality. Now we have to buy six more, and I need to sand and refinish the doors. Something that's long overdue, but now I'm motivated. I hope they come out with a non-privacy version (for closets, etc.).
