This is a good set of light to medium duty ratchet straps that are easy to use and hold down things nice and tight. This listing has them rated at a 900 pound break strength, but the box lists these as for only 300 pound loads, so the title is a little misleading.I have only used them to secure loads of around 200 pounds, and they worked for that weight comfortably and were secure. As long as they are for the lighter load limits as stated on the package, I think they will be durable and last.The ratchet mechanism is a little weaker made than others I have owned, but those were higher-end straps. The hooks securely fit into my truck bed mounting point and those on my trailer and seem to be quality hooks.These ratcheting straps should work well for many different load securing situations as long as you stay within the 300 pound load limit they have. Considering you get 8 sets of these in a pack, it seems to be a good value for what they are.

My sister and I have a semi-morbid hobby of attending estate sales. We have found some great things and I have a small truck that we use to haul furniture back to our houses. We have to go over the tallest bridge in Texas to get our treasures back home, so I always want to have plenty of ratchet straps in my truck for such occasions. So, when I saw this 8-pack of 900lb break strength, 10ft ratchet straps, I knew I wanted to have these on hand.I am glad that I ordered them. They are good quality and are totally perfect to serve my needs. I do not think that I would use these to tie down a motorcycle. But to take some furniture from one place to another, these are perfect. I also use them for some added security for my big cargo bag that fills my whole truck bed. When I have a lot of smaller items, I use the big giant cargo bag. It has its' own straps, but I put a few ratchet straps over the top of it also. It works great for this use also. I find them to be easy to use and secure. I find them to be a good value.

I previously made the mistake of ordering a similar item from this company called "lashing straps" that don't have the ratchet mechanism. My mistake, and those probably work fine for the type of loads these smaller straps are designed to handle - but when I saw these ratcheting straps available I jumped on the order. The clicking ratchets just give you more confidence than tugging on a strap and hoping the teeth bite.These aren't the strongest straps out there, but for the price they are strong enough to do a LOT of things. My primary purpose was for the cargo bag we have that goes on the tow hitch cargo rack on our Explorer. The bag zips and has some velcro straps, but I don't trust that at 75 mph on the interstate. These are good and long (10 feet) to go all the way around the cargo bag and rack to ensure it is snugged down by more than just some velcro. I wouldn't depend on these to hold down anything really heavy, but if you picked it up and put it in the back of the truck yourself without a fork lift then these straps will likely be all you need. For what these are advertised for they will do an excellent job. For that I give them 5 stars. They are small and compact to store easily. I trust them more than bungee cords.

The break strength of these straps is 900lbs., but it's more for lighter weight stuff. The ratcheting system is similar to other ratchet systems with similar release system. In the box are eight sets of ratchets and straps, and a carrying bag. The straps are 1" wide and about 10' long. Unless you're strapping down something really big and heavy, these straps should be good enough for the majority of things that gets tied down onto a truck bed.
