I bought this because I love coastal décor, and the anchor design immediately caught my attention. It is a cute little accent that works especially well in a beach-themed room, vacation rental, boat house, or home bar. When it is lit up, it adds a fun nautical touch without being overly flashy or looking like a giant commercial sign.My only disappointment was the size. The product photographs made it look more substantial than it actually is, and when I opened the package I realized it was definitely on the smaller side. At roughly 10 by 13.4 inches, it is better suited as an accent piece than as the main focal point on a large wall. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is worth knowing before ordering.I do like the dimmable feature because it lets you adjust the brightness depending on where you are using it. The USB power connection is also convenient, especially if you already have a USB outlet or adapter nearby. It is easy to imagine this looking great on a shelf, nightstand, bar area, or small wall rather than trying to make it fill a huge empty space.Overall, it is a cute coastal decoration and would make a fun gift for someone who loves the beach or boating. Just pay close attention to the listed dimensions before buying. I was expecting more of a statement piece and got something closer to a charming little nautical accent. Sometimes Amazon photography has a way of making a product look like it needs its own zip code.

This is a light shaped similarly to and a symbol for an anchor. But first, let’s clear up two misrepresentations. First, this is not a neon sign. This is an LED sign. Second, this is not a 4-foot-tall sign; this is a 13.5-inch-tall sign. The seller has eight pictures posted of this “Anchor LED Neon Sign.” One of these pictures has dimensions overlaid on it. Those dimensions are accurate. At least 6 of the pictures posted misrepresent the real size of this lighted piece in the shape of an anchor. These pictures are absolutely ridiculous! They show this light to be about 3-5 feet tall, but it’s only 13 ½ inches tall! People who go by the pictures, thinking they are a true representation, are going to be sorely disappointed.Moving on. The red LED anchor symbol is bright and red, and it fits perfectly with a nautical or coastal theme. The light is mounted against a clear acrylic backing cut out into the shape of an anchor. The quality is fair. The energy draw is minimal. It comes with some hardware for mounting. It looks rather cheap in the light, but the look is much improved in the dark. It’s a fun look. This decorative light would be at home in a kid’s room, a game room, a bar, a pool area, or a recreational area.This light must be plugged in in order to work. It has no battery. It comes with a USB-A plug, so you either have to have a USB-A plug-in nearby or a USB brick to use with a standard electrical outlet. The cord provided extends about 6 feet beyond the light’s perimeter. There’s an inline switch with a button that allows you to turn the light on and off, a button to reduce the brightness, and another button to increase the brightness.The listed price is about $30, although the coupon price is $28.49 today in July 2026. The price has drifted upward from $20.00 over the last 30 days. $20.00 seems like a much more reasonable price for this item. I’d say it’s a good value at $20.00 and a fair-ish value at $30.00.

I never really know where my next inspiration for a wreath design will come from. In this case, my decision to make a wreath with a fun nautical design came from a roll of beautifully designed ribbon that I saw on sale and couldn't pass up. The ribbon's design is a light blue background with white anchors and red and white life preservers. It's a simple yet cute design that's laid out on a beautiful satin ribbon with wired edges. I already had various colors of deco mesh to use for the wreath base in my supplies, but I was missing the perfect sign for the centerpiece for this wreath design. I searched for the usual wooden nautical signs in stores and online, but nothing really caught my eye, until I saw this. It's a beautiful red LED Nautical themed light-up sign that features a single anchor that grows red when lit. I don't always add light-up features to my wreaths, but that's what makes this one special -- this gorgeous LED sign! It's going to look perfect with the ribbon, and the light-up red anchor will give it such a unique look with a special glow. I'm not sure if I'll list this one for sale once it's finished because even though I don't currently live on the coast, I'm very fond of the memories from when I did (I spent summers living in the Outer Banks in North Carolina when I was in college), and this wreath connects me to a special time and place in my life that I will always cherish. Then again, I love making and selling the wreaths for that same reason - to share my creative visions with others. So, only time will tell if the wreath that's being made with this beautiful LED neon sign is a keeper or one for the sales catalog, but either way, I'm very happy with this sign. It's the perfect focal point for the perfect Nautical themed wreath, and I'm so glad I trusted my instincts and went with this over a more traditional "welcome" sign. The anchor design and red glow says it all, the "welcome" is warmly inferred. Also, if I do make the decision to sell, the customer might decide to use this wreath as an indoor decoration, which I love because 1): that usually means it stays up year round (it seems to be more plausible when the wreaths are hung indoors). 2): the customer thinks it's special enough to find a place to display it inside their home. 3): if it is used for an outside wreath (in which case adjustments will have to be made for the power cord + check to make sure it's okay to use outdoors - preferably to be hung on a storm door, if possible, considering again that it does require being plugged in to a standard outlet), but it will look exceptionally beautiful at night with the red light-up design. I don't know, there's just something about this sign that keeps replaying in my mind as being so special. The fact that it's great quality makes it even better because I can rely on it to work as expected for a long time to come. The simple yet gorgeous design and the red glow of this neon sign speaks for itself. I'm very happy with this Anchor LED Neon Sign. I'll be sure to circle back to add pictures once I've finished making the wreath that I'm using it for, and I can't wait to see the final results. This LED neon sign is a great addition to "the cave" outside! With a strong connection to the sea myself, this sign is right up my alley, so I'm quite pleased to have a chance to hang it and fire it up.The LED tubes on the anchor are mounted on a sheet of acrylic, with mounting / hanging holes cleanly pre-drilled at a few points around the outside. The acrylic comes protected with a plastic membrane that you can remove. The acrylic itself is absolutely crystal-clear, which is nice. The red LED tube that makes up the anchor is strongly adhered, and bright and vibrant as can be. There's an inline switch that controls the on/off function, along with several different dimming levels. This is a nice touch I'm finding, as you can tone down the brightness as the night calms down in the later hours.The power plug connects to any common 5vdc USB-A adapter, i.e. a common cell phone charger. This, too, is handy, as you could power this from the wall or anywhere else you'd have a USB-A output: the car, the campsite, a power bank, etc.The overall cleanliness and build quality is great as well. The LED tubes aren't going anywhere, and the entire assembly sure feels rather weather-resistant. I wouldn't keep this out in the rain, of course, but - being sealed up and low voltage - it looks as though it could take a spray of water without damage. Don't quote me on that, though.Altogether, this is a really fun piece to add to the atmosphere. Being LED, it "should" last a very long time. It's bright, eye-catching, and a definite winner. It might be a bit expensive at $30, but it's a good value if you're into your ambient lighting and it lasts for years to come.

If you plan to leave it on for extended periods of time, use a 3-Amp USB adapter. You can even power it using a USB power bank or any device that provides a USB output.• Safe. It is powered by low voltage USB. There is no high voltage component. No worries about neon gas discharge either.• Thin and light weight. The overall thickness of this LED neon sign is only ½”.• The acrylic backing is ¼” thick, it has a very nice contour, smooth edges, and free from flaws and scratches. The backing has a protective film that you need to remove before installing. You can leave the film on if you like to install it on a white wall or background.• Comes with mounting hardware: There are two sticky hooks, two anchors, two screws, and a shiny chain. I bought this for my sister-in-law who spent many years in the navy, I was hoping she would find it funny or like it, but I imagine we simply are not on the same page. As such she handed it back to me and rolled her eyes at me.I brought it back home, and have put it in my mancave, and although it isn't really a large light, I found that with it off, it still looks nice on the wall.A few things to know:It is usb cord powered and does not come with the adapter to plug into the wall.The cord is similar to that of one used for charging a phone, as such it is not very long nor high-quality.It's relatively small in size, a little less than 2' by 2' in size, so it's somewhat underwhelming in my humble opinion, as I expected to see something the same size as one that you would see in a bar or liquor store. As such, I am not impressed with the quality of parts, as the lighting/glass is far smaller than what one would see in the above-mentioned places.It's not incredibly bright, as such it can be over-powered unless in a dark and small room.Redeeming qualities:It is clever and an easy giftPerfect for someone who prides themselves on their maritime background without over-powering their office/room.If high enough and able to keep the cord out of reach, could potentially work nice in a child's room who is big on boats/sea/ocean/water-based themes.As for my sister-in-law, I am not too terribly surprised with her response, as I have ribbed her with common stereotypes, which I fear have hardened her opinion towards me.
