When you live on a small farm construction line is almost a daily need. Whether you're building a small shed, staking a tree, or just needing to tie down a tarp a good strong line that doesn't stretch can become very important. This string is very slick making it easy to maneuver. It is strong for its size. I will be using it in many ways over the coming months. It doesn't have a twist to it so there is no real issue with unraveling or wanting to twist around itself and knot up.As a bonus you get two small levels that can hang on the line. This is a really nice feature appreciated by anyone who has ever tried to string a level line and then gently rest a level on it. These levels weigh almost nothing which will allows you to truly level your string without having to worry about sag. The levels can also be used in other places for other things. Just a real nice extra feature.

This braided orange nylon construction string is essential if you are doing landscape projects!! I am grading my backyard and was having a hard time visualizing the height of a retaining wall, so I decided to map it out using string.The bright orange color stands out against the greenery which is incredibly helpful. The string itself was hard to cut with my pocket knife so I know it’s strong and will hold up in bad weather. Best of all it comes with two mini levels that easily clip on to the string making it simple to see that everything will be level throughout. With a 1,000 ft of string, I will have plenty left over to use for future projects. I think this was a great purchase and excellent value in price.

This is definitely a heavy-duty string and feels much stronger and more substantial than regular household twine. The braided nylon feels thick, durable, and like it should hold up well with repeated use.It’s also a really useful thing to have around because there are so many different projects you can use it for. The line seems fine. It's typical braided mason line. I like the high-visibility aspect to the line - helps in dusty environments and areas with a lot of dead leaves around.The levels are ok, meaning they functioned fine, but the plastic tabs on them seemed iffy, as if they'd not hold up very long. I guess it's a nice addition to put them in with some line in case you didn't have one at all (they can get lost easily). However, if you have one of your own that you know works well, you'd probably want to use that instead.That's why I dropped a star. I'd have preferred they have the option to pay more to include the levels as 'a kit' for those that needed/wanted them. They also dropped the price several dollars from when I got them ($16), which just makes one question things.
