These are really beautiful glass pendant globes. The shape has an organic, slightly handmade look rather than a perfectly machine-uniform feel, which is exactly what makes them interesting. The ribbed glass catches the light nicely and gives the shade a lot more visual depth than a plain smooth globe.The olive green color is excellent. When the light is off, the glass looks muted, classy, and more like a decorative olive green accent. When the light is on, the color becomes much more vibrant and luminous without losing the warm green character. It has a nice glow rather than looking cheap or overly bright.I also like that the two shades look coordinated without being boring. The form is decorative enough to stand out, but still simple enough that it should work with a lot of pendant fixtures and room styles. They feel more special than a basic replacement globe.Because these are glass and have an organic shape, I would expect some variation from piece to piece. That is part of the look, in my opinion, not a flaw. I would still inspect the rims and openings carefully before installing, but the ones I received look very attractive overall.Overall, I am very happy with these. The color is the standout feature, especially when lit, and the textured glass gives them a much more high-end look than a plain shade. If you want a clean, perfectly symmetrical modern globe, this may not be the exact style. If you want a beautiful olive glass pendant shade with some personality, these are excellent.

I moved into an apartment that had a couple of sconces on the wall but they had the basic glass globe that is frosted and they needed a refresh and these looked pretty and I decided to try them. They are very pretty and the glass has a nice amber color to them and they are just made well overall. They fit right in the same spot as the others and it was super simple to swap out. I would say they are heavier than the traditional frosted glass style you find in a big box store. These were something I took a chance on and I ended up loving them!

These amber glass shades have an elegant shape that gives a fixture a more custom appearance. The ribbed glass catches and diffuses light nicely, creating a warm glow without looking dated. Hand-blown glass also adds subtle variation that gives each shade a more distinctive character.Dimensions deserve close attention because replacement shades are far from universal. The 3.94-inch diameter, 5.3-inch height and 1.65-inch fitter opening should work well for compatible pendant lights, wall sconces or chandeliers, but compatibility depends entirely on the existing fixture.Tip: Measure both the fitter opening and the existing shade before ordering. A difference of even a fraction of an inch can prevent a proper fit. (I did find these universal though — I’m replacing some lower end cloth shades)

I have been eying this sort of glass lamp shade for a long time. The beauty and the old world artisan vibe is just extraordinary. These did not disappoint. So much so, I selected this style shade, before the actual lamp. They are very versatile for adapting, customizing, fitting as is, to table, wall, ceiling, or even as a gorgeous votive candle globe. The thick colored glass is the star here. The green is rich and fresh, looking beautiful on its own -- especially with the molded lines , shape, and texture. The visual interest is compeling. With the combination of line and curve, they add a sophisticated deco/ nouveau touch. These are to the dimensions stated, small and manageable, transmitting a lovely glow that which illuminates the spiral stripes and your home. Very easy to work with, these use standard E26 bulbs. I'm more than pleased with this purchase, and will be looking into some of the brands other similar styles.

GO&SO's octagonal glass lamp shades aren't just 'grey', they appear to coated with a slight metallic luster that makes the glass lines glisten when the lamp isn't lit. When it's let only the translucent glass lines are evident. They're fairly thick glass without being stodgy. I ordered these thinking I would convert two small tapered and spiraled square post lamps from square cloth shade tops to these artsy glass tops. I will have to search for an appropriate adapter to make them fit because the glass hole is larger that the lip on the lamp socket, however. Meanwhile, I was inspired to test them on one of four vintage ceiling fixtures by suspending them over the light bulb as shown in photo 4. The fixture is scheduled to be refinished and I haven't found a decorative large light bulb that I like for these fixtures yet. Since I contemporizing this 1920's house by merging the desirable vintage details with modern this shade was a worth while shot on the ceiling fixtures. Hanging from the vintage fixture -keeping in mind that the bulb type would have to be changed so the shade doesn't hang as low on the bulb stem- the shade looks as much Art Nouveau as it does moderne. Well, I really like the glass shades for their unusual design and glistening lines so I'll try to make adjustments to the lamps or ceiling fixtures to see if I'm content with the final look. Otherwise, they'll likely become votive globes.

I ordered the Amber glass shades to make light fixtures for one of my bathrooms. I still need to get the components for the fixture, but these shades are beautiful! The color of the glass is very pretty, the shape is nice, the weight is enough that indicates quality, and the size is perfect. These will be very easy to install and will add a touch of elegance to this bathroom with a very outdated fixture. They are a little expensive, but the quality is definitely worth the investment. Pictures show how well they were packaged to ensure safe delivery, and then one shade out of the packaging.
