When the top layer gets dirty, it's wonderfully convenient to just peel it off to reveal a fresh, clean sticky sheet underneath.Ease of UseThere weren't any instructions included in the box, but the steps on the Amazon listing are clear and easy to follow. You'll get the hang of it in a couple of days—though fair warning, if you wear lightweight, flimsy shoes (like cheap flip-flops), they might actually stick to the mat when you try to step off! They pull right off easily enough, but with socks, sandals, or sneakers, you barely feel the stick at all.Personal ExperienceI placed mine right in front of the pet door. Not every pet is going to love walking across a sticky surface—cats especially might give you some side-eye—but my cat is tolerating it just fine.My only minor wish is that they came in more attractive colors. They are industrial-looking and not exactly designed for home decor, so they aren't the most aesthetically pleasing addition to a hallway. However, since they work so exceptionally well for household use, I just toss a cute rug over top of it when guests are coming over, and it solves the problem completely.The VerdictIf you want to drastically cut down on tracked-in dirt and pet hair, these tacky mats are fantastic. These sticky mats do an excellent job of removing dust, dirt, and pet hair from shoes, paws, and equipment wheels before it gets tracked indoors. The 18-by-36-inch size provides plenty of coverage, and the adhesive is strong without leaving a messy residue on footwear. I especially like the numbered peel-away layers, which make it quick and easy to reveal a fresh surface whenever the top sheet becomes dirty. GREAT FOR KEEPING CONSTRUCTION DUST UNDER CONTROL!We're currently doing construction inside our home, so I wanted something to help keep as much of the dust & the dirt from being tracked throughout the house, as possible. These sticky mats have worked really well for that purpose. It has also helped to keep my allergies at bay since I'm allergic/sensitive to all types of dust.The adhesive is tacky enough to grab dust, dirt.& small debris from shoes without feeling overly sticky or leaving residue behind.The 18" x 36" size is perfect as it provides a good area to step on before entering the clean part of the house.The gray color helps hide some of the dirt between sheet changes.I also like how each mat has 30 peel-away sheets/ layers, because it helps make it quick & easy to remove a dirty sheet & reveal a fresh one. With 5 PACKS included, this should last us quite a while during our renovation.After construction is over, these also wouldn't be bad just to use on top of the front door mat to collect the dirt all in one place.If you're remodeling, doing construction, or just need a way to reduce the amount of dirt or dust particles being tracked inside, these sticky mats are a practical solution. Wow these are fantastic entry mats that help keep the floors clean. The adhesive backing on these mats require a clean surface for them to stick to the floor so foot traffic will not lift them. The upper surface is equally sticky is the reason the floor it's stuck to needs to be really clean. These have 10 layers of sticky surfaces on each mat. When one layer stops keeping dirt and debris stuck to it and from the shoes, just peal off another layer and your back to keeping a clean floorI put these at the three entry doors of our house and they really work good. They'll take the dirt and debris right.off of the shoes and trap anything that the wind blows in past loose seals or air gaps in the doors seal. I've been using these for a week now and have noticed a real difference when sweeping floors. We have a big mesquite tree in our front lawn and the small leaves tend to follow people into the house, this has nearly stopped there infiltration from the front entry door. My wife appreciates them being at the doors because it helps her when cleaning. All I need to do is peal off another layer when we're sweeping the floors and throw the layer in the trash. They have dirt, leaves, small gravel, sticks ect stuck to the disposed layer. I think they will even stick bugs to them.These are great in not only lab environments but perfect for the desert home environment as well.

I had seen these types of products before, but I assumed they were only for high-end medical facilities, microchip clean rooms, or sensitive testing environments where catching dust, debris, pet hair, and other contaminants is paramount. When I found these, I thought about how much effort I put into vacuuming and dusting with my two shedding cats, who are in full overdrive because of the hot weather. I wish I had tried these sooner; they work phenomenally well.The package contains 5 packs of 30 sticky sheets each, for a total of 150 changes. First, pick a good place where you tend to track debris or pet hair from one room to another. Remove the backing from the pack and stick it to the floor. It forms a strong bond with the carpet or floor without damaging it or leaving adhesive residue. Each sheet is numbered 1–30 on top. After tearing off the top sheet, you’re ready to go. Think of it as a giant sticky roller for your feet and lower legs.I placed mine between the front vestibule and the kitchen. When you step on it, you feel the stickiness, but it’s not strong enough to hold your foot or damage your shoes or socks. It’s especially good when wearing socks around the house. Within the first day, I noticed how much dirt, debris, and hair I was transferring from one room to another. You can look down and see what the sticky mat has removed from your sneakers, socks, or feet. When a sheet is full or losing its grip, simply pull off the layer, no need to re-stick the pack. I was very impressed with its ability to collect pet hair and hadn’t realized how much I was causing it to transfer across the house. For each pack you can tear off the top sheet 30 times and start fresh; for my needs I change the sticky layer every 2–3 days.I was worried it might cause problems for my cats, like getting stuck or pulling on their feet, but they pretty much ignore it: they walk to the side, jump over it, or occasionally trot through it. They may be curious about it, but they don’t seem fazed. For the price, this is a fantastic deal for the quantity and functionality. While it may not be for everyone, I highly recommend it for households with long-haired pets, young children who run in and out of the house, or for specific projects when you need extra cleaning. I got these mats to put in front of my bedroom door to help keep the cat hair out of my room as I’m slightly allergic and for some reason even when I keep my bedroom door closed and vacuum the carpet several times a week, I still get cat hair in my room which inevitably migrates into my bed where it effects me the most.I figured these mats would be worth a try to see if I can eliminate the cat hair that I can only assume is getting tracked in on my shoes and socks. I generally wear bedroom slippers in the house and take them off at the doorway but still I’m guessing it gets on my socks when I remove the shoes in the small entry/removal space. Then it gets tracked all over my bedroom. Hopefully with this tacky mat I can trap the cat hair on the mat before I remove my slippers at the entryway and not longer transport it all over the room.The mat seems very sticky when removing the protective film but doesn’t stick well to the carpet and often times lifts when I step on it and lift my foot. For now they seem to be trapping a lot fo dust and diaries that would normally get tracked into my bedroom, so I guess that’s a good thing. Only time will tell s I vacuum to see if there is less cat hair in the machine when I’m finished vacuuming. The price seems quite high, so value will have to be earned as time passes and I see how well they work for me.
