Efficient Tankless Water Heater Perfect for Instant Hot Water on Demand

I installed this ThermoMate 120-volt tankless water heater under my kitchen sink and the instant hot water availability eliminated the wait time for washing dishes—the 3500W power output delivers adequate temperature rise for most residential applications, and the compact size fits seamlessly in tight under-sink cabinets without requiring extensive modifications. The ETL certification provides confidence in electrical safety, and the tankless design eliminates standby energy loss compared to traditional tank heaters. Installation was straightforward with standard electrical connections, and the overall operation is quiet without the rumbling or cycling noise typical of tank-based systems. My only gripe is that the flow rate is moderate rather than powerful, requiring patience during high-demand scenarios like filling a bathtub, and the unit occasionally triggers a slight delay before reaching desired temperature during the initial startup, but both limitations are acceptable for the energy efficiency and space savings this design provides.

great value for the price vs. qualitygreat value for the price vs. quality

Reviewing Tankless Water Heater Electric 120 Volt 3500W, We are re-doing our basement and as part of that remodel, I wanted to go with a tankless water heater since hot water heaters are so large. Thermomate is a great brand that is known for good quality at budget-friendly pricing.Since it’s dealing with natural gas, we had our plumber remove our old tank and install this tankless heater. He said he loves working with thermomate because they are hassle free installations and work as expected. The display is easy to work (there’s just two buttons) and easy to understand. The water heats up instantly and quickly delivers hot water to any part of the house we need it. The price is the best part! Who needs to spend triple the price or more of this heater when this is a great value and works just as well?

So far working as expected.,

Appears to be a quality water heater. Installed it in my house and is supplying hot water with no issues. Wish that the display showed power being used in addition to water temperature.

Solid Tankless Water Heater

[Set name: EH-18kW]
This has been a solid water heater so far. It heats quickly, responds well when hot water is needed, and has been consistent during normal use. The touch controls are easy to work with, and the unit has a clean appearance once installed. The compact size is also a nice advantage compared with a traditional tank setup, especially if you want to free up some space. Performance has been steady, and I have not run into any issues that would make me question the unit so far. What matters most to me is that it delivers hot water when needed without making the system feel complicated to use. The higher power makes sense for a whole-home style setup, and the flow has been enough for the way I use it without noticeable problems. Installation does require the proper electrical setup, so that is something to account for before buying, but once installed it has done its job well. The build feels solid, the controls are straightforward, and the performance has been dependable. For the price, it offers good value and has been a worthwhile replacement for a traditional water heater..

Excellent Replacement for My Old Gas Tankless Heater

[Set name: EH-27kW]
I replaced a 199,000 BTU Paloma gas tankless unit with this 27kW ThermoMate. The old heater had worked great for about 15 years, but it was my last gas appliance and the gas lines in the yard were getting old. Rather than put money into replacing those lines, I decided to switch the house completely to electric.Make sure you have enough breaker space before buying this size unit. It requires three 40 amp breakers, and I had to replace some smaller breakers with dual breakers to make room. Fortunately, the heater is in the garage close to my electrical panel, so the installation cost stayed reasonable. The flow rate is lower than my old gas unit, but that has not been a problem here in the desert Southwest where our incoming water temperature is often in the 70s. This heater gets the water hot quickly and keeps it hot for as long as we need it.I gave it five stars because it has been a good replacement for the much larger gas unit and lets me eliminate the last gas appliance in the house.

Nice Booster.Nice Booster.

[Set name: EH-14kW, Set name: EH-14kW]
My kitchen sink is all the way at the end of my hot water loop and used to take over 3 minutes to get to temperature. I ordered this as a booster tank to fix that problem. When I first opened the package I was really surprised by how well built it looks. It's very sleak and a lot smaller than I expected it to be. It's a bit more powerful than I really needed for my use case and I was considering an undersink model or a small booster tank, but I'm glad I stuck with this. I mounted it in the basement directly underneath the feed to the kitchen sink. Not only does it provide very quick hot water to the sink, but it also made my dishwasher and clothes washing machines much more effective as well! I wasn't thinking about that when I installed.Installation should probably be done by a professional. I was able to DIY it but I have a bit of experience working with stuff like this. This install made me more nervous than anything else I've ever installed. You need both some plumbing and electrical knowledge, and it requires a lot of voltage. You need to make sure you're following code.Overall I'm thrilled with this unit. It wouldn't be nearly large enough for a whole home unit in my climate, but it works exceptionally well as a booster.

I’ve had it in use for a few weeks now I have a one bedroom apartment one-two people works fine. I also live in South Florida so our average temperature is 75° on a cool day if you live in a cool environment it’s not gonna do the trick for a home. This is good for faucets like in a garage or on a second floor that takes longer to get hot water. It’ll be good for a laundry room for instance, but that’s it. Efficiency enthusiast this is your go to move. If you don’t wanna get a water heater put in place you need 240 though, but it works great. As you can see, I have a very small closet and taking that water heater out was God sent as long as this product continues to work. I highly recommend it keep in mind enthusiast this device is meant to be maintained yearly so if you’re not doing the maintenance that is required. I guarantee you this product will fail after a couple years.
