I installed this LED wall pack a few weeks ago, and so far I’ve been very impressed with its performance and overall build quality. Right out of the box, it felt solid and well constructed, not like some of the cheaper exterior lights that use thin materials.Installation was straightforward, and once it was mounted it gave off plenty of light. It does a great job illuminating the area around the building, making it a great option for exterior security lighting, parking areas, shops, or yards.What has impressed me the most is how well it has held up to the weather. Since installing it, we’ve had multiple strong windstorms, heavy thunderstorms, and temperatures reaching around 110°F. Despite those harsh conditions, the fixture still looks and performs like it did on day one. There haven’t been any issues with flickering, moisture getting inside, or any signs of damage.The housing feels durable, and the overall construction gives me confidence that it’s built for long-term outdoor use. While I’ve only had it installed for a few weeks, it’s already proven it can handle some pretty extreme weather conditions.If anything changes after long-term use, I’ll update my review, but based on my experience so far, this has been an excellent exterior LED wall light. It’s bright, appears to be well made, and has already stood up to high winds, thunderstorms, and extreme summer heat without missing a beat. The build on this Lightdot wall pack is actually quite solid. It has a rugged die-cast aluminum housing that feels like it can handle some weather without breaking a sweat. The light itself is very bright and provides good coverage for large areas like a garage or a driveway. I also appreciate the three-way switch feature because it lets you choose between 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K color temperatures to get the exact vibe you need for your space.However, don't believe everything you read on the box. The listing claims this is a 200W light that puts out 30,000 lumens, but my measurements tell a different story. When I checked the actual power draw, it only pulled about 110 watts. It looks like they are using a smaller component inside that limits the maximum current to around 930 milliamps. Because of that, you aren't getting the full 200W performance promised by the manufacturer. The lumen output is also roughly half of what they claim it should be based on those wattage numbers. The thing is, anyone can figure this out because everyone has to open up this unit to get to the wiring. When you open it up, you can see that the parts have their ratings right on there and in no way could it ever reach 200 watts. Measured 110 watts with a power meter right to the AC.Even with the inflated specs, the light performs well for its actual size. It has a smart photocell sensor that works as intended to turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn automatically. You can also pull the sensor out if you want to switch to manual mode. The IP65 waterproofing seems legit too, so it should stay functional even in heavy rain or snow.If you need a bright light for your backyard or warehouse and don't mind that it isn't quite as powerful as advertised, this is a decent option. It's built tough and the color temperature options are a huge plus for versatility. This is a very good quality wall mount light. It illuminates my place well and brightly and I'm very happy that you can dim the lights because sometimes, these lights come without the option to dim them and they're just these very bright lights without the option for them being warm.I'm very happy that you can make the lights on this warm because my eyes are sensitive so this is very helpful!! I do like the size of this, and I'm out of bright ness that comes from this, but I do say it's a little expensive for my liking!!
