This review is for the JULLISON “5 Inch Black Flush Mount Ceiling Light 5CCT Selectable LED Edgelit Slim Surface Mount Downlight for J-Box, Mini Flat Panel Light, Dimmable, 120VAC, 10W, 620LM, CRI90, ETL, Wet Rated, 2 Packs”These LED ceiling lights are good for replacing fixtures that house a single 60-watt incandescent bulb or the equivalent LED bulb. According to the specs they are rated at 620 lumens. They mount directly to the junction box with a unique bracket that you mount first, then after wiring, you clip the light in. Overall, I spent more time figuring out which circuit breaker to turn off than I did installing these. I did run into a problem with one of them, but that was because the ceiling junction box was crooked with respect to the drywall surface. I resolved that issue with some outlet spacers between the bracket and the junction box.As I was using these in closets, I chose the 4000K color temperature. The lights are marked with the ETL certifcation, and they appear to be very well sealed. The light output seemed a bit brighter than the 60 watt incandescent bulbs they were replacing. They look very svelte and draw up tightly to the drywall surface.At about $26 for a pair, these are definitely a good deal compared to anything from the orange or blue big box stores, though there are less expensive items on Amazon that lack ETL certification or UL listing.

These lamps are lightweight and fairly easy to retrofit with. Bear in mind that while they’re very thin, the back protrudes quite a bit so you need a box under them.
