I really like these lights - I replaced some builder-original hallway lights from the early 2000s with these, and they work great. They've both brightened up the hallway and also removed some of the clutter from the ceiling that the old brass-and-frosted-glass fixtures brought. They fit well into the existing junction boxes and were really easy to install - the screw holes lined up perfectly with the standard junction boxes.
