I am so impressed with the quality and clever design of this Kraus bar/prep sink. Even in a smaller 15-inch footprint, the workstation ledge makes it feel infinitely more functional by letting you slide accessories like the cutting board and drying rack right over the sink basin.The 18-gauge stainless steel is thick, durable, and feels completely solid—no flimsy flexing or cheap oil-canning here. It has a gorgeous commercial-grade satin finish that resists scratching, and the sound-proofing undercoating really does a fantastic job of keeping things quiet when water is running or dishes are clinking. The drop-in top-mount installation was straightforward, and it gives any kitchen, bar area, or prep station a sleek, modern, high-end look. Kraus quality truly shines through on this one!

First to the ladies, if your husband installs this for you, praise the ground that man walks on!!!Men, if you are planning on doing the installation, be prepared with new cuss words, some cuts and scrapes, and a sore back from having to lay on the floor and partially inside the kitchen cabinet!!!!Definitely worth doing.This unit is heavy! Thick stainless steel!I could lift our old sink with one hand. This one isn’t terrible, but definitely not a one hander.The size is standard for a kitchen sink, and for an over-the-counter unit is 33 inches long by 22 inches wide on the outside edge of the sink.All mounting hardware is included, except for the silicone to go under the lip of the sink.It comes with the metal rack at the bottom, which I believe is mostly there so you don’t drop something in that big of a sink.Also, a cutting board that fits perfect on the sink.The versatility of a sink of this magnitude is just incredible!! You could put an entire turkey in there probably two, along with a ham to defrost.The appearance really makes the kitchen “pop”! It’s like new life was put into the kitchen.It does come with a drainage connection, however, we definitely wanted a garbage disposal. Luckily I was able to polish up the old disposal cap and it fit perfect in & under the unit. (Picture Shown).Believe it or not, having one drain allowed me to rearrange my drainage piping which created more room under the cabinet.

This 15 inch sink feels sturdy and has a clean satin finish that looks great in my wet bar. The eight inch deep bowl provides useful washing space without requiring a large cabinet or taking over the countertop. I especially like the fitted bamboo cutting board because it covers the bowl and creates extra preparation space when the sink is not being used. The included bottom grid protects the stainless steel surface, while the sloped base and channel grooves help direct water toward the drain. Sound pads and the underside coating noticeably reduce noise and condensation compared with thinner basic sinks. It costs more than many small bar sinks, but the solid construction, easy drop in installation, and included workstation accessories make it worth the price.

The “NoiseDefend soundproofing” is genuinely noticeable. My old sink made clangs and vibrated, this sink is solid and quiet, even with hi-ball glasses and bar utensils moving around the basin. Another great feature is the built-in ledge groove. It transforms the sink into a workstation, allowing me to slide the included bamboo cutting board over the basin with ease. This really adds space and functionality to my bar area, love it! And the sinks offer more functional products you can buy - such as a stainless steel strainer basket that fits right into the groove. These chef-quality, functional tools are another great reason to buy a KRAUS.One thing to keep in mind is to maintain KRAUS’s beautiful satin finish; you need to clean it carefully. It resists scratches well, but regular care ensures it stays looking premium for years. THIS is the second KRAUS sink I've owned.I am a big fan of their line of products.Quality. Innovation. Style.This sink replaces a time-worn double bowl stainless steel sink. Nothing wrong with that sink other than years of scratches and scrapes.It was time for a refresh, along with the other renovations we've done in our home.I installed a single bowl sink for a friend a few years ago, and it was then that I realized the value of single VS double bowl sinks. Now, I am a fan of the single bowl concept.To top that, having a 'Workstation' sink is a HUGE PLUS!This sink has that built-in ledge to allow sliding the included cutting board along its path. VERY handy for all of our food prep needs. EVERYTHING is contained over the sink while cutting, chopping, shredding, etc. Then just wash it down the drain via the garbage disposer. The sloped bottom with channel grooves aids in directing everything down the drain.The added soundproofing on the underside helps keep the noise down, from the disposer and dishware. Also helps to prevent condensation from forming.The sturdy 18-gauge stainless steel is thick enough to support the added weight of a garbage disposer, plus prevent most of the 'flex' of a large kitchen faucet.The quality of the stainless steel is quite evident. The nice satin finish looks great and is easy to clean.INSTALLATION is fairly easy and straightforward. I ensured the cutout dimensions were the same as my old sink cutout.33 x 22 inches is a fairly standard size, for a 36 inch cabinet opening. The 9 inch depth is a bit deeper than most, giving more room to splash about safely while containing the largest of your cookware.The install is as easy as pulling the old fixture and dropping in this beautiful new one.To AID in the EASE of installation, ALL of the necessary parts are included, minus the faucet and garbage disposer.WE LOVE the bamboo cutting board! Sustainable wood that holds up nicely to everyday use.WE ALSO LOVE the stainless steel grid that protects the bottom of the sink from bangs, bumps and scratches. VERY NICE.Kitchen chores are now a bit more 'fun'!Just standing in front of this gorgeous new sink is amazing. Our friends love it, too.In use, it handles all our prep work needs and then cleans up nicely.Water flows easily over the beveled edge, helping to keep the area dry and pristine.A LOT OF BANG for the BUCK!Kraus is Krazy Kool!

I am incredibly impressed with the KRAUS Fairlane 25-inch Workstation Kitchen Sink! The 18-gauge stainless steel construction feels exceptionally solid, and the clean, modern aesthetics instantly gave my utility room an upgraded, professional feel. Yes, I installed this as a utility sink to avoid constant staining in my cheap utility sink. The included workstation, especially the wire grate, helps with cleaning paint brushes and the like without resting on the sink itself.The integrated workstation ledge is easily my favorite feature. The included accessories slide smoothly across the top, making meal prep and cleanup vastly more efficient while saving precious counter space. Below the ledge, the deep single-bowl design handles oversized pots, large baking sheets, and cutting boards with ease.The sink is thoughtfully engineered throughout. Draining is smooth and complete, the stainless steel finish resists stains and wipes down easily, and the heavy sound-dampening insulation keeps water noise to a minimum.Installation as a drop-in unit was straightforward, fitting seamlessly into my existing countertop cutouts. Between the solid build quality, functional accessories, and sharp looks, the Fairlane delivers tremendous value and performance.
