We recently installed the Liilokte 2-Light Brushed Nickel Vanity Light in a small powder room. While the quality and aesthetic are really impressive, the fixture has some limitations in terms of size and light distribution.The brushed nickel finish gives the fixture a sturdy and premium feel. The white linen frosted glass shades provide a soft, non-glaring light that looks elegant while maintaining a minimalist modern aesthetic. The installation was straightforward, with all necessary hardware included. The ability to mount it facing up or down adds flexibility.However, there are downsides if you’re illuminating a larger bathroom. The fixture is small at just 12.2 inches, making it inappropriate for a larger bathroom or a wide vanity area where it would look disproportionately small. It’s almost too small for the powder room I used it in. The design makes the light seem very focused; the frosted glass directs light mostly downward onto the mirror and vanity top. This lack of upward light leaves only the mirror and vanity well illuminated. I’d need to put additional lighting elsewhere in a large bathroom if I want areas brightly lit.Overall, the Liilokte 2-Light Brushed Nickel Vanity Light is a quality light fixture that’s appropriate for a small powder room and vanity. It’s well-made and has a sleek, modern aesthetic. It certainly upgraded my bathroom fixture quickly.

This light is a ringer...meaning, I was not expecting a lot for this price and wham, it knocked it out of the park. I am remodeling my hall bathroom. Wanted to keep parts cost reasonable and spend on quality labor. My contractor was impressed with these lights - he liked them so much that he moved that light up an 1/8 of an inch (and I mean cut the wall, moved the hardware, and spackled) so that the LED mirror did not detract from the beauty of the light. The frosted glass gives it a unique old-world vibe but the framing makes it modern. Love it. He said installation was easy with quality parts. I like that this is standard E26 bulbs - I had some on hand but going to put in different ones that balance with the beauty of these lights. Winner all day!

The fixture feels sturdy and well made rather than flimsy, and all of the necessary mounting hardware was included, so there shouldn’t be any last-minute trips to the hardware store.I haven’t installed it yet, so I can’t comment on how it performs once wired or how the lighting looks when illuminated. However, based on the build quality, packaging, and overall appearance, I’m very pleased with it so far. If it performs as well as it looks, I think it will be an excellent value.Overall, a great-looking fixture that arrived exactly as advertised and made a strong first impression.

This is a unique brushed-nickel light over a bathroom vanity, with a uniquely designed set of shades that emulate linen. The glass shades have apparently been etched with hydrofluoric acid to give them a linen look. It looks like a linen carving on the glass, very unique.Each light is an E26 lightbulb socket. As you know, the E26 socket has been around for more than 100 years, and it is a standard American bulb socket. There are literally thousands of bulb variations for this socket that have been used over the years.The fixture itself was made of brushed nickel, and the combination of the nickel and the linen frosted shades makes it unique and very attractive.The manufacturer recommends not using a bulb larger than 60 W, as the fixture does not come with one. You have to buy them separately. You probably wouldn’t want to buy a 60 W bulb for a bathroom fixture anyway; you should be aware that when you’re getting LED lightbulbs, a 9 W LED bulb is equivalent to an old-style 100 W incandescent bulb. The 100 W incandescent lightbulb used to be an American standard; now that’s a 9 W LED, a substantial energy saving. I would recommend getting at least 29 W LEDs for this vanity shade, and I also recommend installing a dimmer switch so that, at night if you wish, you can dim them. And when you’re buying the lightbulbs by the switch at the same location, get a representation from management that, as you dim the lights, they’re compatible with one another; the lightbulbs will not flicker or flutter or you’ll bring them back.. The manufacturer suggests installation is easy, and this fixture can be installed with the shades up or down, whichever you prefer. When you install them in an upward position, you get more reflected light from the ceiling, which enhances the fixture's light.Should you choose to install this picture yourself? There are some important caveats I’d like to discuss with people before they consider doing that.First, make absolutely certain you’ve turned the power off at the circuit breaker control panel box. The circuit breaker control panel box is usually located in your home's basement. And in some homes, the circuit breaker control panel box is located in the garage, particularly if you do not have a basement.Once you’ve located the circuit control panel box, identify the circuit breaker that controls the junction box you’re about to work on. Assuming there’s still some sort of working light in the junction box that you’re going to replace the light in, have a friend watch that light and talk to you on the cell phone at the same time, and when you turn that circuit breaker off, have them let you know by cell phone that you’ve turned off the circuit breaker. I would then flick it on and off three or four times just to make sure I had the right circuit breaker.Important safety step: what you may think is redundant is that I would have to go back and test each and every wire in the junction box with an electrical test device and/or a voltage meter to make certain none of the wires are still energized. The reason for this is sometimes electricians or contractors will have different sets of wires going through the same junction box, some of which RN you may have turned off with the circuit breaker; you wanna make sure everything in the boxes is dead.Second, I would get an electrical testing device. I always carry a device that looks like a little red pen; when you push a button on the end, the little red light lights. If you put it near while it’s energized, it starts chirping like a bird. If I put it near a 240 V clothes dryer circuit, it will chirp twice as fast, and the light will flash twice as fast, warning me of dangerous electrical current. These are important safety devices that you should always have with you when you’re doing electrical work.This is a beautiful light; it’s made of premium materials.
