I ordered this Freaky Rock Heavy Duty Impact Driver Tool Pouch with Belt Clip because I don’t have one and l like the name of the product.I’ll start by saying I’m a homeowner and not a contractor. I have no professional experience to compare this tool pouch to other ones. That said I think this product will take some getting used to. Carrying around all that weight feels uncomfortable to me. I used it on a small lighting project and it was helpful when on a ladder.For me the holster swallowed up my drill and my impact. They would slide down into the pouch and I would have to reach down into it to pull it out. I used the included drawstring pouch to store some hooks in. I have regular size hands and I found it difficult to reach in to get hooks out.The belt clip worked great and I could squat down without the pouch getting in the way. The pencil pouches in the back are difficult to use with an impact in the holster. The front pencil pouches came in handy.Honestly I’m not sure I will use this tool much. If I do a deck project where I’ll be using a drill & impact all day long then I’ll be glad I have it. I will probably put a tape measure on where the drawstring pouch clips on and use a separate screw pouch on the other hip.Overall I think the holster is of quality construction and would hold up to homeowner use and light contractor use. At $20.99 at the time of this review it seems like a good value for what you are getting.

This drill holster can clip on to your belt without having to unbuckle your belt. The clip opens up so that you can put it over your belt and then refasten it. The holster then clips on to the belt clip. You can easily remove it and put it back on when you need it. It is made well and is very durable. There is a drawstring pouch that clips on to the holster to hold your extra bits. The only small issue I had, was that the holster would pull down at an angle due to the weight of the battery on the electric drill, screwdriver. It could have been partially due to the type of belt I had on. If you put it on a stiffer belt, it would probably mitigate some of the tilt.

I do a lot of cedar woodworking out in my garage, mostly building tiered planters and small bird feeders. I was looking for something to hold my impact driver because I am constantly setting it down and losing it under a pile of scrap wood. I grabbed this tool holster and its been working out really great so far. It is not too massive or bulky on my belt so it doesnt weigh me down when I am moving around the shop or bending over.My absolute favorite part though is the little screw pocket on the side that actually closes up completely. Usually I end up dumping a handful of screws all over the concrete floor when I bend down to grab a new piece of wood, but the flap on this pocket keeps all my hardware totally secure inside. Its just a really solid piece of gear to have and makes jumping between different wood projects a whole lot easier. Definitely nice to have your drill right there at your hip exactly when you need it.

My impact driver is probably the tool I use more than any other. Most days it’s constantly in my hand, and when it isn’t, I’m usually hanging it from a pocket, tool belt, or whatever happens to be nearby using the built-in belt clip on the tool.After using this holster, I wish I had gotten one sooner.It keeps the driver securely in place while making it much easier to grab when I need it. One thing I really appreciate is that the tool is always in the correct orientation, so I’m not fumbling around trying to get a good grip before using it (or worse - dropping while standing 6’ up on a ladder bending the bit, chipping the floor and testing the construction of my favorite tool and battery…. NOT that I’d ever do that…!)Another unexpected benefit is that it keeps the driver bits from poking and stabbing me while I’m moving around, climbing ladders, or crawling through projects. That’s a bigger improvement than I expected.The material feels durable, the construction is solid, and it holds up well to daily use. I use this tool belt holder to hold my impact driver and when I don't want to wear my full tool belt with suspenders. This tool belt holder saves me trips up and down the ladder 🪜 and is useful when I'm on a roof and need an impact driver for example when working on a metal roof. It prevents my impact driver from accidently falling off the roof too. I recommend using a small AH battery like a 2ah because it's lighter and smaller. I was using a 4ah battery and it was weighing down the holder and making it lopsided. The fast clip makes it easy to attach to my belt. Price is very affordable. I use this impact holder a lot when I'm building fences as I screw my 2x4, 2x6 etc in instead of nail so my impact driver gets used a lot. The Velcro strap that holds the driver in is a little thin and I hope the Velcro lasts. Overall, works for me. 😊.

I like having my drill close without juggling it every few minutes, and this holder made that part much easier. The quick release feels smooth, so grabbing the drill and putting it back does not interrupt what I am doing. The bit pouch is more useful than I expected because I keep switching between different screws and no longer have to dig through my pockets. The fabric feels sturdy and holds its shape even after plenty of use. The strap stays in place and does not keep sliding around while I move. I noticed I spend less time looking for the right bit and more time finishing what I started. It is one of those simple tool belt additions that quietly makes every project feel less frustrating.

This is a drill holster (no belt is included) designed to attach to your pants belt or tool belt if you wear one. Note that once loaded with a drill and a few accessories, this is going to weigh a significant amount and is likely to pull your pants down if your belt is not cinched!Quality is excellent--very nicely designed and very durable synthetic material which is both flexible and molded to hold most battery powered drills. The drill rests loosely in the holster and is easy to remove but is unlikely to fall out accidentally.As you can see, a full size drill fits easily but a smaller impact driver or other variant is likely to fit easily as well.Other compartments and small pockets allow you to carry a supply of screws, bits or even a spare battery (probably.)The holster attaches to your tool belt or other belt with a plastic locking latch which is securely attached to the body of the holster and snaps around whatever you wish to attach it to and holds securely. A small plastic latch can be released with your thumb to remove the holster if needed. A velcro strap is permanently attached and is used to affix the drill when not in use to positively prevent it from falling out--even if upside down.I have other products from this seller and aside from the odd name, the quality has been very good and the design well thought out--as it is with this holster.This is a good value and an attractive item which could also be a good gift for the right person.

I'm a carpenter and use my drill constantly throughout the day. I really like this drill holster — it fits all the different drill models I own. But the pocket is a bit on the large side, very compact drills won't be a good fit. I can attach the holster to my belt using their clip system, keep my wood screws in the drawstring-closure pocket, grab my drill, and I'm ready for a full day of work. Super convenient!
