This weather sealing tape has been a great, budget-friendly way to cut down on drafts around my windows. The ultra-clear finish is nearly invisible once applied, blending in nicely without drawing attention to the fact that it's even there. It's done a genuinely good job blocking cold air from sneaking in around gaps, and I've noticed a difference in how drafty that room feels during colder weather. The adhesive holds strong and doesn't seem to weaken with temperature changes, staying firmly in place through both warm and cold spells. Application was straightforward, just clean and dry the surface, measure, cut to size, and press it on, no special tools or complicated steps required. What's been especially reassuring is that it removes cleanly without leaving behind sticky residue or damaging the window frame, which matters since I don't want a permanent mark from a seasonal fix. At 2 inches wide and 35 yards long, there's plenty of tape to cover several windows or doors without running out partway through the job. This has been a simple, effective way to improve insulation without any major installation effort or long-term commitment.

The window vent for my floor model A/C unit wasn’t very well designed and leaves large gaps. I’ve tried (ugly) foam shims, but they shift and caused the whole vent assembly to slide out. This weather sealing tape is just the thing I needed. It closes the gaps AND holds the plastic flanges firmly in place against the sash, and since it is clear, it doesn’t create an eyesore like the foam did.I did need to peel some tape off the painted wood due to my own klutziness installing it - I accidentally created a big crimp and it sticks VERY firmly to itself - and it did not damage the paint. It’s definitely helping with A/C performance. It’s been very hot but I’m not hearing the A/C kick into noisy overdrive trying to keep up anywhere near as often as it was with the foam shims. The roll is generously sized so I have plenty left for next summer - unless I use it to seal drafts this winter!

I needed this to seal up a drafty window, and so far this tape does exactly what I wanted it to do.The first thing I noticed is that this feels much more substantial than regular clear packing tape. It's probably 2-3 times thicker, but the bigger difference is how it handles. When you pull it off the roll, it peels smoothly and consistently instead of doing that annoying "jumping" thing that packing tape does where it suddenly releases and pulls more tape than you wanted. The application was simple. It went on smooth, stayed clear, and stuck well to my window frame without needing to do any special surface prep. I didn't have to fight with it, stretch it into place, or keep reapplying sections that wouldn't stick. It's also worth noting that it doesn't feel like a permanent adhesive. When I tested peeling it back, it released cleanly and easily without leaving residue behind. Obviously, the real test will be removing it after an entire season, but the initial signs are good. The only strange thing I noticed was a red line printed across the tape a few layers down on the roll. At first, I assumed this was intentional and was supposed to be a helpful marker showing where the tape started, almost like a built-in pull tab.Nope. It was just... there.Once I realized that, I had to hunt down the actual beginning of the tape. Since the tape itself is crystal clear, and I had already been fooled into looking for the red line, finding the actual edge took longer than it should have.A strange design choice aside, the tape itself is impressive. It feels thicker than normal tape, applies smoothly, holds well, and appears like it should come off cleanly when the season is over. That's exactly what I want from a temporary weather seal.

I needed something to suppress a drafty kitchen window until it gets replaced, and this roll is a lot better quality than I thought it would be. I kind of went in expecting it to be mid-low tier, but it actually turned out to be surprisingly decent. It's essentially like packing tape, but a lot thicker. The whole roll itself is about five inches across, counting the space in the middle. It's not the thickest roll I've ever seen, but with doors and window frames you're taping off a large section, so it's difficult to say how long it will actually last.I think if you're somebody who's not good at DIY projects, this is a pretty decent choice if you have a really bad draft in a bedroom or get chilly at night. During the winter, I think this could be an easy break-glass-in-case-of-emergency type of item. After using it to seal the kitchen window sides, I'm now curious how far the usefulness will stretch. It was a little hard to get it to conform if the surface is uneven, which most window surfaces are with different pitches and elevations. I had one section that didn't want to stay once the adhesive had been pulled loose enough for adjustment. But ultimately, no air passed through once it was applied. It also claims to be waterproof. I haven't had a chance to test that yet, so I can't comment on that aspect.I'm curious to see how it performs over time, but so far it sealed the draft well for my application. If I had any request for improvement, I'd probably say a wider roll and more material for the price, considering that windows and doorways typically use a lot of it.

Absolutely perfect for my winter window prep! This crystal-clear tape is nearly invisible once applied, and it really does stop the cold drafts. I love that it’s removable and residue-free—no sticky mess left on the frames. Great value for the price and easy to work with.
[Size: 2 Inch x 100 Yards]
Easy to apply and super effective. I used it on a few older interior windows and doors, and the difference in warmth is noticeable. The tape stays securely in place, doesn’t peel off, and it looks clean and professional. I’ll definitely order more for the rest of my house.

This sealing tape is a great energy-saving solution. It’s heavy-duty, stays flexible, and seals tight without cracking. I tested it on both windows and doors, and it blocks drafts perfectly. The fact that it removes cleanly later is a huge plus—no stripped paint or glue residue. Highly recommend!

It was interesting to test the weather sealing tape to make my old windows draft-proof, and it turned out to be way more efficient than I thought. It is such a product which can produce great results without using any additional tools or skills. As far as I am concerned, the weather sealing tape is completely transparent. It will not stand out at all when it is applied. This is the very feature I cared about because I wanted to find something which would not spoil my windows’ appearance and would not affect my view. The tape will look rather discreet along with the window. It was quite easy and fast to apply it; I just needed to measure, cut and stick it to the place where it was needed. It is adhesive enough to provide a tight seal and there is no risk of it falling from the windows. The biggest difference is the number of drafts that have decreased. The places that were used to draft cold air have been renovated to make the room feel warm and retain heat better. Moreover, this has helped to decrease the dust from outside and even the street noise a little bit.I appreciate the fact that it is waterproof and therefore can be used in areas such as windows, doors and even my air conditioner system. The use of only one product in several different places makes it very convenient.Another thing that helped me trust the product is the guarantee that it does not leave any residue after being taken off. Although I have not needed to remove it yet, it is comforting to know that it will be easy to do it especially for the tenants. The 35 yards roll is more than enough to use in different windows and doors. This is really a simple but very effective way to make your home more comfortable and to keep the bills for the consumption of electricity low. It is clear, durable, easy to use, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you are looking for a good and cheap way to reduce the amount of cold air coming inside your home, you need to purchase it.
