Utilizing red, yellow, green and magenta LED tubing, this fanciful lighted decor creation adds splashes of color and whimsy to a room. I really appreciate the levity infused by this "sign". I also like the control functionality: upon applying power it immediately illuminates at its highest level, which is plenty bright for most locations. Following power-up, the control can be set to one of six different brightness levels. If turned off using the corded switch, memory restores the last setting when the 'on' button is pressed. If powered down by external means, illumination is reset to the highest level.With this type of product, I've found the weakest build element is the entry point of the power cable. Other than a factory-applied dab of glue in the opening, there is no practical strain relief. You can mitigate this flaw by placing a strip of strong clear adhesive tape over the cable here, and/or being careful not to pull on the wire. Aside from that issue, I consider durability to be very good. The inflated $37 cost is consistent with the current LED sign market, and the alien cowboy delivers a good value.

You cannot help but love this!"Fly me to the moon, I want to play among the stars..." with this far-out alien! I could not wait to get him up on the wall. I love the vintage look of neon, but the glass tubes are so fragile and fussy – not to mention pricey. This design is much more doable. The piece is made of lightweight plexiglass, and when lit, the bright neon colors glow almost like the real thing. Setup takes practically no time. Included in the box are a chain and also a pair of clear stick-on hooks, which would be good for a window, maybe. I used a picture hanger. A 6 ft USB power cord provides power. There is an on/off switch with several levels of brightness. (The highest setting is really bright!) You provide the wall box, and you might need an extension.You’ve just got to smile when you see this luminous guitar player from another planet in his cowboy hat! It is happy wall-art, perfect for a den, or music room, a family room, or anywhere. It could even work as a nightlight for kids, and certainly as an awesome party light. And, of course, what an absolutely perfect crazy-fun surprise this would be for a lucky friend or (in my case) spouse!Good as he looks on the wall, my alien is not going to spend all his time inside. He is portable enough to go on the road. Next trip, he will be lighting up our campsite!

My spouse plays the guitar and he likes weird things, so when I saw this green alien cowboy guitar player, I thought it would be the perfect addition to his man cave. It's silicone neon tube on a clear, acrylic backing. It comes with a USB cord equipped with a dimmer/controller that lets you turn it on and off and adjust the brightness of the sign. The colors are bright and vibrant and the subject matter makes you stop and look when you see it. The acrylic has pre-drilled holes in case you want to hang it on the wall, and adhesive hooks are included to help with that. My only complaint is that there is not a base included that the sign can sit in so you can put it on a table. Wall space is at a premium in our man cave, so I will have to come up with a way that this sign can be supported and set upright on a table.

Who doesn't love ramen? Put this baby in your window and you can express your love of ramen to the astronauts on the international space station.First impression: This thing can get BRIGHT! It's very equivalent to a real neon sign. The colors are very vibrant, and the light can get intense. I love that there's a brightness control, along with an on/off button built right into the power cord. There's a long way between the dimmest and brightest setting, so it's super easy to find the value that's right for you. This would be fun to put up on the wall (my plans) or even to stick in a restaurant window. Very fun!The one detractor is the lack of a power plug. That's always an automatic one-star subtraction for me. We don't all have a basket of USB chargers sitting in the closet like all these companies seem to think we do. And other companies HAVE started including them in the package, so don't tell me nobody does it anymore.Other than that, this is a great sign!

Giving it to my son as a Christmas gift so no pictures yet, the light was bright and looked correct. Came with some chain and suction cups to hang on the wall. Used a USB plug and didn't see a power block in the box. Overall happy with the item

Living in Florida, this Flamingo Palm Tree Sunset LED "neon" sign fits right in with my style! To be clear, this uses modern LEDs rather than traditional glass tubes, so there’s no fragile glass to worry about.It runs on USB power and comes with a nicely sized cord that features an inline controller right near the middle. The controls are simple and intuitive: a middle power button flanked by up and down buttons to adjust the brightness.What really sets this sign apart for me is how it handles power. I use Google Home with smart plugs to manage a lot of devices around my house. Most LED neon lights I own won't turn back on automatically after losing power—you usually have to manually press the button on the cord every single time. This sign actually remembers to power back on! It defaults to 100% brightness when switched on via the smart plug, which works great for me. I'm just thrilled to be able to integrate it seamlessly into my Google Home setup.
