Nice Set of Fence Post Anchors

[Number of Items: 2]
These metal fence post anchors have a drivable spike anchor that are thick and sturdy. The welds are well done and hold the metal firmly together. The anchors are painted black for weather resistance and good looks. It looks very nice and should hold in firm dense soil. I will use a concrete base since the soil around my project is fairly loose. The Post anchors fit standard 4x4's, they also have pre drilled holes and screws for fastening to the 4x4. Love that it comes as a set of two at an affordable price. It should last for many years without issue.

Fence Post Anchor Ground Spike 2 Pack 4x4, 22 Inch Black Powder Coated Steel

[Number of Items: 2]
Fence Post Anchor Ground Spike 2 Pack 4x4, 22 Inch Black Powder Coated SteelThis initial review is based on product inspection and feature evaluation. The carbon steel construction with black powder coating provides corrosion resistance and prevents wood posts from direct contact with moist ground for long-term durability. The 22-inch total length with 5.5-inch upper section and 16.5-inch lower section allows for secure ground installation. The inner diameter of 3.6 by 3.6 inches fits standard 4x4 wooden posts. The split structure design allows for easy hammering into soil without excavation, and it can also be used with concrete for added stability. The 2-pack includes 8 hexagonal screws with spring washers and 16 screws for installation.Applications include garden fences, pergolas, lamp posts, mailboxes, hose reel posts, and deck railings. The design is suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professional craftsmen.Based on face value, the powder-coated steel and split design offer good value for post mounting projects. I will return to update this review after installation and extended use regarding stability and corrosion resistance.

Excellent post anchors

[Number of Items: 2]
These are great post anchors and can really save you a lot of time if you either don't have the tools or the time to fully dig out and set good drainage in post holes. These will fit to a nominal 4x4 in less than 60 seconds with the included hardware and the 22" length gives you a really good hold in soft to firm soil. The design and solidity of the spike will allow you to get it into rocky soil also, but that will require careful placement. Spike design is excellent, allowing a post to be driven into the ground by hand or with a mallet. If you're using very long posts (I don't think I'd be comfortable with anything over 6 feet) and you don't have the leverage, the design allows you to pretty easily get the anchors in the groud before you secure the posts. It's nice to have that option when you want to make sure things are secure in the ground, especially if you're setting posts before securing to other posts via fencing. These are a great value for the money, especially when you consider how much they simplify they the process of fencing,

Heavy-Duty Support For 4x4 Wood Posts!

[Number of Items: 2]
I’m very impressed with these heavy-duty ground anchors. This set includes 2 anchors for 4x4 wood posts, and each anchor ships in two pieces with the hardware needed to assemble them. The carbon steel construction feels extremely sturdy, and the 22-inch total length provides excellent support. I did replace the included screws for attaching the post with longer bolts because I was using 6-foot cedar posts for a backyard gate and wanted the extra strength and stability. The black protective coating should help protect the steel from corrosion and ground moisture while also protecting the wood where it meets the anchor. Installation is a perfect DIY project. First, attach the square base to the ground spike. Then place a short piece of scrap wood or post into the base and use a sledgehammer to drive the spike completely into the ground. Once it is secure, remove the scrap piece, place your actual post into the base, and attach it.The finished look is fantastic! The stained cedar posts paired with the black steel anchors give our backyard gate a clean, sturdy, finished appearance. These anchors are a great choice when you want solid support without making installation complicated.

Good quality 4" x 4" post anchor spike, but have one concern about the two piece spike.Good quali...

[Number of Items: 2, Number of Items: 2]
This is a two-piece, spike-style post anchor that is a good alternative to setting a wood post in concrete. Once assembled, they are 22" total inches tall, with approximately 16"-18" being driving in the ground or set in concrete. There are instructions on assembling the two-piece unit and recommendations for setting it in concrete. My one concern, and reason for four-star rating, is I'm not sure how well the bolts will hold the two sections together over the long term.Besides that, I like using these spike post anchors for temporary and seasonal use when needing a 4” x 4” post in a certain place. These are two-piece and the box includes instructions and hardware to assemble each spike anchor. They seem to be pretty well made with holes pre-drilled for assembling the two pieces together and securing the final 4"x4" post. The metal is fairly thick and should last many years with the spike section being 16” +/- inches long depending how deep want to you put it in the ground.Over all, these seem to be good quality post spike anchors, for either permanent or temporary use. They are priced pretty well for the pair and are good for a mail box, small fence, bird & squirrel houses/feeders, or other light-weight items. **I would not recommend these for anything heavy that needs to be securely anchored in the ground. You should dig a proper hole and set the post in the ground with concrete.- Additional tip, if you are driving these in the ground, get a 1’ piece of scrap 4”x4” and set it in the anchor spike hole, then drive it down with a sledgehammer until it’s at the depth you want. Then set and secure the final 4” x 4” post in the anchor with screws.* Don’t forget to call #811 before setting any post anchors or digging too much. Remember, you are driving a sharp, metal spike 14” +/- in the ground and could get a costly surprise!

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. NO DIGGING. GREAT QUALITY.

[Number of Items: 2]
I ordered the GURONG 4x4 No-Dig Fence Post Anchors (2-pack) for my porch project, and I am very impressed with both the quality and appearance. These anchors are extremely hefty and feel much heavier-duty than I expected. The 3.58” x 3.58” inner dimensions fit my 4x4 porch posts perfectly, creating a secure and professional-looking installation. One of the things I like most is the black powder-coated finish. The black bases give a clean, modern look that enhances the appearance of a porch, deck, fence, pergola, or even a mailbox post.Installation was straightforward and easy. I appreciate not having to dig holes or deal with concrete. The set includes four post anchor ground spikes and 24 mounting screws, so everything needed for installation is included. The steel construction feels solid and durable, and the 16-inch ground stakes provide excellent stability. These anchors appear well designed to withstand outdoor conditions while keeping posts securely in place.Overall, this is an excellent product at a great price. The combination of heavy-duty construction, attractive appearance, ease of installation, and secure fit makes these anchors a great choice for a variety of outdoor projects. I am very happy with this purchase and would gladly buy them again.

I love this design, stout and durable, great hold, HIGHLY recommended!I love this design, stout a...

[Number of Items: 2, Number of Items: 2]
This 2-piece design is unique and works well for me. I like that the 22" spike is separated from the post holder because it makes it easier to drive the spike in with a sledgehammer without damaging the post holder area. For this 2-pack at just $37, it is really a good value for the money in my opinion. These are very stout, made from carbon steel, and they have a consistently coated and durable black rust-resistant finish. This post anchor is really sturdy and worked well for my application. I used them to mount posts for electrical boxes outside of our pool deck area and they have a good hold and aren't going anywhere. If using for a fence post with more wind resistance, I think they would be alright for that too, but I personally still set fence posts into concrete for added support. These post anchors are versatile and can be used for many different things like fence posts, electrical posts, light posts, and more. They measure 22" in overall height with the stake and the post holder combined. They are made to be slightly larger at 3.6" square than a standard 4x4" US standard post which measures 3.5" square. They are quality-made post anchors for a good price, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Solid fix for a wobbly fence post — easy install, no concrete needed

[Number of Items: 2]
I ordered these to fix a fence post that was wobbling. Installation was straightforward. The split structure design let me hammer it directly into the ground without digging or pouring concrete, which saved me a lot of time and effort. Fit was snug for my 4x4 post with the 3.6"x3.6" inner diameter, no wobble once secured. The hardware included was sufficient. The hexagonal screws with spring washers and additional screws were enough to fully secure both anchors without needing to source extra parts separately. At 22 inches total length (5.5" above ground, 16.5" driven below), these provide solid depth for stability, and the fence post feels sturdy now.Overall, a well-made, practical fix that saved me from having to replace the post entirely — great for anyone dealing with rot or wobble at the base of a fence post.
