Professional Grade Clamps

[Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2]
Pros: These two clamps are kick-butt. The size, the grip strength, the simple functionality is exactly what I want in a basic clamp. I got some pieces securely glued together with these clamping them in place for a lamp I am adding wood details to and I wouldn't get the same professional effect without clamps. These work as expected, with a ratcheting clamp down and a lever to hit to release the clamp. It is firm and steady. The clamps are lightweight so they are easy to work with. The black and red is a classic color combo in any workshop and they go well in my space.Cons: If you want to work on projects larger than what the capacity is for these clamps, please be sure to get something else. For my purposes with DIY, these are perfect.Overall, my DIYing has leveled up now that I have these. I would recommend them strongly.

Small but substantialSmall but substantial

These little squeeze clamps work great. These are very small and lightweight, only about 6 inches in length. This makes them perfect for smaller projects as they can fit into narrow openings. Plus, they're just more maneuverable. For me, I've been getting the most use out of them when using superglue on 3D printed stuff and for doing smaller projects with epoxy. In both cases, the parts are small and my hands are usually engaged, so it's really "handy" to be able to whip out these little clamps, and operate them 1-handed. And despite their diminutive size, these clamps are much more substantial than the cheap no-name ones. They can clamp down harder than some of the larger ones, too. They release easier as well. But, they can be a bit sticky on the bar - perhaps this is just because they are new. Also, I really like that they can be configured to push as well as pull. The product listing shows the static end having button to release it from the bar, but the units that I received don't have this function. (Perhaps this is only on the larger sizes?) Instead, my clamps have a a little PH1 screw that can be removed to release both the static and the working ends, so you can rearrange them as needed. So, considering how useful these have become, I'm surprised that they are priced so low. $15 for a set of 4 seems like a great bargain.

A great small clamp

[Size: mini 6"(4), Number of Items: 4]
Some quite small clamps like this are too cheap and flimsy. But not these! They're solid and have a good grip when pumping them closed. I'll be buying more. Recommended.

Comfortable Grip and Solid Clamping ForceComfortable Grip and Solid Clamping Force

[Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2, Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2]
This is a good pair of 12-inch medium-duty clamps. I’m a woodworker, and these clamps feel well made and should hold up for years of regular shop use. They provide plenty of clamping pressure for most woodworking projects, and I like that they can quickly convert into spreaders by repositioning the fixed jaw.One of my favorite features is the vinyl-coated release lever. It’s much more comfortable on my fingers than the bare metal releases found on many similar clamps. The trigger action is smooth, the pads grip well without marring the wood, and the clamps stay square under pressure.Overall, these are quality medium-duty clamps that are easy to use and a great addition to any woodworking shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Good clamps, locking mechanism could be better

[Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2]
These are nice medium-duty bar clamps. They feel well constructed, clamp smoothly, and work well for general woodworking, glue-ups, craft projects, or holding parts in place while drilling or assembling something.I especially like that the heads are reversible, so the clamps can also be used as spreaders. That makes them more useful than a basic fixed-purpose clamp, and the changeover is straightforward enough that I would actually use the feature. My only real complaint is the locking mechanism. It works, but I do not like the design as much as the Bessey clamps I have. The Bessey style feels a little more natural and confidence-inspiring to me, while these are just a bit less satisfying in that specific area.Overall these are still good clamps. They are useful, made well enough, and the reversible head design is a nice feature. I just prefer the locking mechanism on some other clamps.

This two-pack of 12-inch ARROW bar clamps is a practical addition to a workshop for woodworking, assembly, and a variety of DIY projects. The one-handed trigger design makes it easy to apply clamping pressure while leaving the other hand free to position materials, and the quick-release lever allows for fast adjustments when repositioning the clamp.A useful feature of this set is that each clamp can be converted into a spreader by reversing one of the jaws, providing additional flexibility for different tasks. The clamps can also be connected together for greater reach when needed, making them suitable for projects that require a longer clamping span without the need for a dedicated oversized clamp. The clamps feature hardened steel bars, reinforced nylon handles, and removable soft jaw pads that help protect work surfaces from marks during clamping. The 2.5-inch throat depth is suitable for many common woodworking and assembly tasks, and the rated clamping force is appropriate for a range of light- to medium-duty applications.Overall, this is a versatile clamp set that combines convenient one-handed operation with multiple configuration options. The ability to function as both clamps and spreaders, along with the expandable design, makes these a useful choice for everyday workshop and home improvement projects.

Light duty clamp with lots of plasticLight duty clamp with lots of plastic

[Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2, Size: 12"(2), Number of Items: 2]
Looks decent enough. Only metal parts are the bar and the metal plates that ride on it to lock it down. Otherwise its lots of plastic. The whole head is mostly plastic. If you are looking for clamps with mostly metal construction, then you might not care for these. They should work ok for light duty clamping. One other feature noted is that there are two buttons on the far end head that when pushed will release that end and let you move it to the other end so that you can use it to spread instead of clamp.

The ARROW 2-Piece 12" Medium Duty Bar Clamps were purchased for clamping needs during improvements and repairs at leased properties. Comments following review and testing:1. Clamps received in quantity/size ordered and well packaged, as Arrow always does, with a brief introduction/instruction sheet.2. Clamp bar is steel with connecting holes for the stationary clamp at both ends - material appears high quality and well fabricated without burs or any other imperfections. Appears treated/blackened to resist corrosion.3. Clamps handles/jaws are made from high quality plastic (nylon as advertised) and well fabricated without any rough edges/seams or other noted imperfections or operational issues.4. Trigger release and potentially other internal components are metal, with releases being plastic covered.5. Jaw pads are thinner than other brands but more than adequate for 150lb force and are removable, assuming for replacement ?6. Clamp opening of 12", spreader distance of 16" and throat depth of 2-1/2", all as advertised.7. Each clamp can be reconfigured into a "spreader" by simply disconnecting (using push buttons) and relocating the stationary jaw to the opposite end - reference instruction sheet photo.8. Clamp trigger sections slide smoothly along steel bars and absolutely hold fast when tightly compressed as tested on two wood 2x4 sections - 150lb clamp force not verified but very, very strong/secure yet easily removable using release.9. GREAT aspect - the two clamps can be joined end to end to double the clamp/spreader distances - reference instruction sheet photo.Form, Fit and Function of the clamps are excellent - very nice quality and operation plus the ability to join clamps - durability and longevity are expected to be very good. Value is also Very Good at the $34.99 price point, or $17.50 each - competitive against other well known brands at the 150lb rating. An easy 5 Star rating and Recommended for medium use and possibly even heavy service.Special thanks to Amazon and Arrow for providing another great tool.
