The rain boots are a very. good value and they work quite well. They were put on and off 4 different pairs of shoes as well as crocs. It is so difficult to find shoes in size 13 double wide shoe and the x-large size rain boots solves this problem.The side zipper works smoothly and is sturdy.  The boots have a strap that goes over the top of the foot to secure the boots into place . This strap has 2 snap buttons on either end and learned it was easier to keep the snap on the outside of the foot fastened and then fasten and release the inside button.  If you have shoes with a larger width sole, taking a little extra time to sit down while putting them onto your foot and shoe is recommended as it will take more time to do so. When I taking off the rain boots, holding onto the shoes was necessary otherwise the inner shoe will come off at the same time as the rain boot, especially more prevalent when wearing “no-tie” sneakers.  When putting on the rain boots, sitting down to put them over your shoes is recommended for ease of use.They definitely keep out water.  One afternoon it was raining and they were used outside to get something from the detached garage. Once this task was over upon inspection, the rain boots were not wet on the inside and kept water outside. Even prolonged use in the rain on other days , the inner shoes were dry too.  I highly recommend these rain boots, especially for those who have shoe sizes that are difficult to find weather gear for.  I rate them 4 out of 5 stars.

I love boot covers, especially this time of year because it rains almost every evening here, but I like to wait until the evenings to pick blueberries and play disc golf.These boot covers do a great job keeping my shoes dry, even when I'm in areas with tall, wet grass. They have good traction, so I can go up and down the side of the mountain to pick blueberries without sliding around everywhere.They lost a star because of the sizing chart. According to it, I should have ordered a "small" for my size 6.5 women's shoe size. Fortunately, I have enough experience with boot covers to know that that cannot be right. Instead, I ordered a "medium," which just barely stretches across my shoes.If you order these, know that they work great, but you should probably consider ordering two sizes up.
