I’m very pleased with this fan. Installation was mostly straightforward, the instructions were clear, and there was plenty of hardware included, including some pieces I didn’t need. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench or equivalent. I’m not really sure why manufacturers always seem to need an assortment of different screw head types, but they do.I did have to drill my own holes in the mounting plate to match the existing holes in my ceiling box, but this is an older box and probably doesn’t match current standard sizes, so I can’t really fault the fan for that. Our house also has stiff solid copper wiring, which made positioning the wires in the fairly tight space a little challenging. You need to arrange the wiring carefully so there’s enough room for the receiver.I followed the instructions and installed the blades before raising the fan into position. That might be fine with two people, but working by myself I found the blades mostly got in my way while I was doing the wiring with the fan hanging from the provided installation hook. If I were doing it again, I’d probably put the blades on afterward. The hook itself was very helpful for a one-person installation.Once everything was together, I was impressed. The fan is rock solid, even running at its highest speed, with no noticeable wobble or vibration. It moves plenty of air and is quiet while doing it.The lighting is another strong point. The regular LED gives good usable light, while the RGB lighting was more impressive than I expected. It isn't just a little colored glow around the fan—it throws a considerable amount of color across the ceiling and makes for some nice ambient lighting.The remote gives you plenty of control without having to use the app, and I especially like that they include a wall holder for it. I mounted mine next to the existing switches, so the remote has a permanent home instead of eventually disappearing into a drawer somewhere.Everything fit together properly, the finished fan looks good, and between the quiet operation, solid mounting, lighting options and remote control, I’m very pleased with the result. For around $70, I think there’s a lot here for the money.

It doesn’t dominate the ceiling, yet it combines a serious six-speed fan, everyday white lighting, and completely separate RGB accent lighting.The fan itself performs very well. The DC motor is impressively quiet and produces up to 3100 CFM of airflow at maximum speed. Six speeds provide plenty of adjustment rather than forcing you to choose between barely moving the air and creating a windstorm. The reversible motor is another feature I appreciate because the fan remains useful in winter for circulating warm air instead of becoming something that sits unused for half the year.The lighting may actually be my favorite part. The 1100-lumen main light can be dimmed from 5%-100%, and the color temperature adjusts from a warm 3000K to a much cooler 6500K. That is a surprisingly broad range. I can have comfortable warm lighting in the evening and much brighter, cooler illumination when I actually need to see what I’m doing.Then there is the independent RGB backlight. This could easily have been a gimmick, but separating it from the main light makes it genuinely useful. You can use normal white illumination when you need it, RGB for softer ambient lighting, or combine the two. The app also allows you to customize the RGB colors rather than limiting you to a handful of presets.Both the included remote and smartphone app are straightforward to use, including control of fan speed, lighting, and timers. I also appreciate that installation and feature videos are provided. Ceiling fans aren’t something I want to assemble by trial and error.Overall, this is a very capable little fan. The 42-inch size and low-profile design keep it visually manageable, while the 3100 CFM airflow, six speeds, reversible DC motor, adjustable white lighting, and independent RGB backlight give it the feature set of a much more elaborate fixture. I really like the look of this 42-inch ceiling fan because it has a clean, modern style without hanging too far down into the room. The low-profile design works great with lower ceilings, and the black finish looks modern and clean.The DC motor is impressively quiet — almost silent on lower speeds — and the reversible function is useful year-round. The RGB + 4CCT dimmable LED light offers plenty of color and brightness options, all controllable via the app or remote.Airflow is strong for a 42" fan, and setup was straightforward. I really do like this fan. For the price it's a good deal. It does have a few issues though. First, the instructions complete leave out a couple important steps. If I didn't have experience mounting fans, I may have been completely lost installing this one from the supplied instructions. Second, sometimes even with the fan turned completely off, the colored LEDS on top will barely come on... making a faint glow on the ceiling. If you turn the fan off and back on, they will go away, but this shouldn't happen with everything turned off. Third, even though it appears to be very balanced, it does have a random clicking noise when the fan is on, which can get annoying. There are many more controls available from the app than from the remote... like choosing a single color to hold on the overhead LEDs. Unfortunately if these are on, they are always on at full power. There is no way to dim the colored LEDs. The other light and fan features are very nice. I like than you can select the color temperature of the main light, and it has a wide range of fading the brightness. It has 6 speeds to choose from on the fan settings.

I received this ceiling fan a while back and got it installed. It has 42" blades, RGB lights that light up the ceiling and has many options like flashing to music. It also has many light options for the main light like color temp and brightness. It comes with a remote and is Alexa compatible and has reversible fan blades for two different colors. The directions were mostly clear but didn't show you how to wire it when you have two light switches controlling your fan, I had to go online for that information, I'm no electrician. Over all it looks good and was basically easy to install and set up with my Alexa, I would recommend this fan if you want something different, modern, and Alexa compatible.

This ceiling fan was really easy to hang and wire up. As long as you're comfortable doing basic electrical work, you shouldn't have any trouble installing it without having to call an electrician.I really like the multicolored LED lights, the multiple fan speeds, and the fact that it comes with a remote control. Everything works exactly as it should, and the remote makes it really convenient to adjust the settings from anywhere in the room. I love being able to adjust the fan and the lights while I'm laying down in the bed or anywhere else in the room doing whatever I want to do.Even though it's only a 42-inch fan, I was honestly surprised by how much airflow it puts out. It moves a lot more air than I expected for its size and does a great job keeping the room comfortable.In my opinion the asking price for this unit is really fair and reasonable! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family!!
