Absolute beauty of a door knob. This handle is a nice matte and modern finish. It is not oil rubbed black, if thats what you are looking for. Rotation is smooth and there is no play in the mechanism. Kit comes with multiple plates to fit a variety of sizes for pre-drilled door sills. Locking mechanism is a small push button that can be released from the outside with the included key, a toothpick or straight pin. Perfect for common restrooms or powder rooms. I would highly recommend for anyone with a black hardware scheme for their home.

An absolute must. So I ordered this door knob set because when my landlord set my door up, she suggested no lock so the kids couldn't lock themselves in the door and I said well you know if I had a key I could get them out no problem but she still went ahead and put just a unlockable sat on so when I found this I'm like yes yes I need this yes. Thank god. So if I want to go hide in my bathroom, I totally can. If I want to get the kids out if they go hide in there and lock themselves in, easy enough just poke something in and get them out. These are the kind of door locks that I like because you don't have to have a key. You can use almost anything that'll go into the hole to get it open. I couldn't be any more thrilled to be able to have a lock on my bathroom door. I also would like to get some more for my closets because that's where I hide Christmas presents so that is my goal. I will order more just because this worked out so well. I definitely recommend. Especially if you in the habit of losing keys and you're afraid of that and don't want that to happen, you don't have to worry about that. You can just pop something in there and open the door no problem. You don't have to worry about a key at all and that's exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention how sleek it is. It isn't like the basic ones that have the hole right in the knob. It has it off to the side or top or bottom whichever way it gets installed but then it has a button that you push in when you're inside and then the outside you would unlock it with the little poker or if you can't find your little poker/key then you just find something that'll fit in there and pop it open. I don't want my kids to know that of course but that's how you get in so you don't ever have to worry about losing your key. I love it I'm grateful for it and I recommend it at this price

The brushed gold finish looks sleek, modern, and very on trend, and the square rosette gives it a more updated look than a standard round knob.Unfortunately, it did not work out well for our apartment doors. After installation, the knob felt pretty stiff and was annoying to open. That said, our doors have several dense layers of paint built up around the edges and hardware, so I honestly cannot say for sure whether the knob itself was the problem or if our doors were the real issue.It does come with helpful installation instructions, so I would definitely recommend following those carefully and double checking everything if the knob feels stiff after installation. We just did not have the time to troubleshoot it further, so we decided to put our original knobs back on.The price is very reasonable, especially for how nice the design looks. If these work well with your doors, I could absolutely see buying the six pack and updating an entire home without spending a fortune.

I really like this door knob. It was very simple to install. It took me about 10 minutes once I had the old one off and the door cleaned up. This knob is removable when you go to attach the interior knob to the door. It helps with being able to access the two screws on either side of the knob. The knob comes off by loosening the hex screw at the base. This is a nice touch as most knobs don't do this and you have to screw in the knob at a weird angle, stripping the screws in the process. The knob itself is hollow which is kind of a bummer but at this price point I expected it. The knob turns easily and latches and unlatches perfectly every time.The latch plate did come with plastic on it that had to be removed that left a lot of sticky residue on the plate. It was kind of a pain to clean it up with alcohol but once cleaned it looked good. They should do this before the sale as it serves no purpose and is a little frustration to remove and clean.Overall, it's a great looking knob with solid feeling internals that works every time. I just wish the knob itself had more weight to it and they didn't ship the latch plate with plastic stuck to it.
